Many people dont know who thangaraj was? i as resident of bokaro steel city where thangaraja lived got many oppurtinity to see the man in action as a spots officer and coach.
I can only tell u (for guys not knowing him).
u can compare him to oliver kahn of Germany . so fearful was he on the field
interesting a goalkeeper and still fearful to the opposition
Its really sad to know that a such gr8 Sports Person who got glory for our Country was never highlited by our sports federation.
I am not hear to blame or point fingers to anyone but just would like to inform that time & again, we are just repeating the same mistake of highlighting CRICKET only.
That is one of the major reson, we have lost & are not succeeding in HOCKEY ( our national sport, thats if the current generation knows about it ), Soccer & other sports.
Hope to see Our country Flag raise high in other Sports as well.

Absolutely correct. I am ashamed to say that even after being a sports fanatic, I am hearing his name for the first time. I havent seen any article or reports regarding him. May his soul rest in peace and condolences to his family
