Roger Federer is all set to slip further down from his current position of World no. 2. On current form, he could slip to no. 5 very shortly.
Though, he is still good enough to win a few titles, including Grand Slams; particularly if Nadal is either indisposed, or is taken care of by someone else, but his era is clearly over.
Federer losing to a non-entity nowadays, does not make news.

even when sampras was reigning the tennis world we had doubts whether he could be dethroned until he retires....but time proved otherwise...roger is human too...

The Federer mowing the tennis courts were becoming a bit of a drag and good that there are usurpers to the throne now.

Could we be seeing the end of the Federer era ? A couple of years bck could we believe the guy could be beaten so consistently by so many players ?

fedex had a back injury. he's saving his best for the grand slams.
