Get a life Mr.Sen, you are an idiot
by ByTheWay on Nov 12, 2008 06:17 PM

How much you got paid from Ferrari ? You tried in the initial part of the so called 'article' [I wont call it an article, as someone put it down, it looks like a Ferrari bulletin] you tried a bit to be realistic. But just the thought that Lewis is the champion made you threw away all the caution and penned it down as biased as someone could be. I dont need to give you examples of how the FIA tried its best to stop Lewis / Mclaren all through the year. I dont know whether you had really watched all the races completely, or just the shots send to you by Ferrari highlighting Lewis' errors and Ferrari's great moves ? Had it not been such a biased authority of the sport Lewis would have wrapped it up 3 races back. You come across as the same ldiot as you show up in the race chats on rediff. You dont have anything to say about how the man you stated as 'god' won atleast two championships ? And so called Alonso couldnt chase down a rookie in the same package last season ? I can debate over and over on this, but not with a fool like you. For the records - I'm not a huge Hamilton follower, but no one can deny the life he has brought into F1 in these two years, You like it or not - it doesnt matter - period!

Dear author, Dont be so biased, opinionated and prejudiced
by Yogesh Gupta on Nov 04, 2008 03:36 PM  | Hide replies

Dear author , why have u also forgeten the fact that Hamilton is the same driver who had beaten his world champion team mate in his rookie season fair and square and Massa has been beaten by so many of his not so highly rated team mates through out his career and he was also one of the major causes of Schumacher's championship loss in 2006, because he could even not do the same job Barrichello had been doing previously. Barrichello used to keep Schey's rivals at bay by finishing right behind the great man, but Massa could not even manage that. When Schuey was ahead of Alonso, Massa used to finish behind Alonso and that did not help Schumacher, they way Barrichello used to do during his stint at Ferrari.
Ferrari and Massa supporters may scream at the top of their voices that Massa is great, but they cant change the fact that Hamilton is the yongest ever world champion and he has won just in his second year in F1 and last year he missed it by a single point unfortunately. Hamilton is going to win many championships in future and he is undoubtedly a cut above the rest. He is the best!!

Massa has not won any race where he hasnt started from pole whereas Lewis has. Now that is a trait of a champion. Massa plays safe by qualifying to pole and then holding onto his position. When have we ever seen him come back from behind the pack and win a championship or even come close to win. I cant recollect one convincing or exciting over taking by Massa. Lewis, Kubica, vettel, Kimi and Alonso are so much better than him. Massa is a fine driver who is peaking in his third year with Ferrari. Lewis did it in his first year. All said and done, I felt bad for Massa and really appreciate his sportsmanship. Great representative of the sport. But then so is Lewis.

Lets stop a while to talk about Hamilton's attitude. We know who the real Champ is. Lets question the attitude of Mr. Raja Sen, the proud author of this article. I think he got this article published after soliciting his wife/gf attention in his Chief Editor's hotel room later in the evening.

Now we know how he missed the statistics of the game, thinking only about other's gf. Talking about others wife/gf, Im also a Journalist now. yo!

Please ban this article and ofcouse, my post.

Hamilton is the best!!

Belittling Hamilton's winning the world championship and the fact that he lost last year by a sigle point being a rookie, shows author's immaturity and his bias towards Massa. Dont forget that Mclaren has also to be blamed for Hamiltons championship loss last year. TOther drivers have been complaing about Hamilton because they are jealous of his unprecedented and phenomenal success. The author needs to understand what Hamilton has managed to achieve and how talented and exceptionally fast driver he is rather than questioning his attitude. Massa may be fast but he is also very erratic. Massa benefitted from Hamilton's penalties and he is still not regarded in the same league as Hamilton or Alonso. The author said that Massa drove excellently in the wet, but the fact remains that the race was not wet even for one fifth of the race length. If he cant win the championship after more than seven years of experience, driving a red car, I dont see him ever winning the championship at all. Hamilton will go on to win multiple championships. He is the new king of Formula 1. Long live the new king.
The author also needs not to forget the fact that Hamilton was fighting two opponents all the year, Massa and FIA. Most of the ex F1 drivers have this opinion that Hamilton and Mclaren were unfairly treat on more than one occasion.

Putting pressure is different from winning. F1 championship is won for the consistent performance over a season and Lewis won it. If it was just the last few races then Alonso was the winner by a big margin and Kimi's performance was equal to Farce-India. (Sorry Kimi)

Lewis is gonna be multiple champion.
by Yogesh Gupta on Nov 04, 2008 03:28 PM

Hamilton will win because Alonso is at Renault which obviously cant match the pace of front runners consistently, Massa is too erratic and he will have to be very lucky if FIA remains biased against Hamilton / Mclaren. Ferrari is not the same team it used to be in Schuey / Brawn era, they are certainly on decline albeit slowly. the performances of the Scuderia in the last couple of seansons indicate that. There is no reason why Mclaren cant cope with rule changes, they are one of the biggest and most prestigious teams in the history of Motorsports and they have a partner like Mercedes. They have no dearth of the best engineers and Mechanics in their team. BMW are ever improving will most probably wont be able to match the pace of the Maclarens or Ferraris. They have not been able to catch them up in four years. Vettel is extremely talented, but dont forget he will be only in a Red Bull next season. Toyata and Honda have never been and probably will never be able to fight for the Podiums, so we dont need a crystal ball to see who is the going to be the winner next year. Hail Lewis.

This article seems to be written by a but obvious Ferrari fan! As they say, the grass is always greener on the other side...this article should be written with an open view unbiased to both teams. How would Ferrari fans react to open reports that the stewards are biased to Ferrari. Lets play the sport and not cherish a Ferrari domination. The season has been one of the best and the best result has been a Toro Rosso winning in Ferrari dominated Italy. Also a year where Force India turned up as a "Force" to reckon with. All in all, Formula1 needs new heroes and faces and it doesnt mean that heroes are to be made only in Ferrari stable. For God's sake, value the sport and not a team...

Biased article written in bad taste
by IndianShadesOfTruth on Nov 04, 2008 02:51 PM  | Hide replies

just to get the facts straight:
1. Lewis scored 60 points in the last 11 races, not 50.
2. Alonso scored only 18 points in the first 12 races.
3. The first para casting a slur on Lewis's gf is really in bad taste.
4. This is F1 racing and not a personality contest - your nitpicking on the attitude of Lewis so soon after his WDC crowning glory is in bad taste.
5. You have deliberately ignored the Massa benefit that the FIA were running this year - result of which is the penalties on Lewis for France and Spa chicane cutting which you so happily seem to point out.

Comes across as a heavily biased article. I hope rediff can bring out one article showering praise where it is deserved - Lewis for becoming the WDC!!

Hail Lewis!!

Oh...what to say....hailing lewis would be kind of approving all the unsportsman like attitude he has now.He is a false champion since in true blood's worth Massa has outshone him(a prejudiced media is not needed for him)and had actually won it if not manipulated by a crap called Glock.
The article deserves praise in identifying the real man among the boy's.

Lewis is a champion - no doubts on that. But he is a champion who could win only by 1 point. He is a champion who was inconsistant all through the year (ofcourse Massa was inconsistant too). He is a champion who could win only 98 points in the entire season. First 8 races and mere 38 points ... how good is that?

You may also like to know that McLaren is a team that was penalised heavily in the documents stealing case and was also penalised heavily for when they appealed against the FIA. If you think the decisions made by FIA were incorrect why dont u appeal against it ?

Are you kidding me? This is a Ferrari / Alonso fanboy article with factual mistakes like Lewis scored 60 in the last 11 races instead of 50. He has made no mention of the FIA dubious decisions that benefitted Massa. He has used slander on Lewis's gf in the first para. One of the most trashy articles ever written on F1.
