What do you mean by "LOST GLORY"? No Indian player has ever won a Grand Slam Singles title. The closest was Ramanathan Krishnan, when he reached Wimbledon Semi-finals on consecutive occasions. Apart from him, Vijay Amritraj reached a couple of Grand Slam QFs and Ramesh Krishnan reached Wimbledon QFs once, prob the year when Becker won his 2nd title. There's a huge qualitative difference between Singles and Doubles games, so I am not talking about the Doubles and Mixed Doubles Grand Slams won by Indians. And BTW, I have seen this girl play. Although she has a powerful forehand, she doesn't have the consistency and temperament to succeed at the topmost level. So, forget about her winning Grand Slams.
