Kimi is the KING

Just one win because of the weather does not make him a champion. Kimi is going to win the championship and Massa will come second. Monaco was a fluke because of the weather

In fact, in all the comments about how his mistake actually helped him, people are REALLY forgetting that in the first safety car period, he got a HUGE help and made up all the time that the Ferrari's had gained on him. These things happen on rain-hit races, but Ferrari are the team who have all the balance for a full season

dont u think u r putting lewis overboard by comparing him wid d legendary ayrton senna.i mean he's good bt to think of it this is 1st year in F1.surely he's got more serious competition in the form of kimi massa kubica than to think of emulating senna

Kimi will be champion again

Unlike last year, I am sure that Kimi will win the championship easily this year.

He may win 8 - 9 races this year.

Bloody Britons
by Truth on May 27, 2008 03:48 PM

Look who is praising Lewis ! All bloody britons !!

One win at Monaco and all swarm like cockroaches.

Comparing poor Lewis with Senna. Because of this kind of bullshit and superlative praises Brits fail to see the big picture and eventually lose.

Everyone knows, situation and weather played into the hands of Lewis. Because of that he had huge advantage over Ferraris and other teams.

Whereas Ferraris ended hoping that it would rain but rain never came.

Kimi suffered becoz of various factors including his own frustration which ended Sutils dream.

Poor Mallya learnt a bitter lesson !

Amazing how the redif F1 forum has civilized, to-the-point, well-thought thru, knowledgeable comments - while the crickek and politics degenerate into rabid fanaticism and abuse within a couple of statements...

Not so easy!!!!!!!!!!!

Hamilton has extreme competition from his rivals. Massa is just 26 years old, so is Alonso. Kubica is the same age as Hamilton and he sure is gonna break into a bigger team anytime soon. And the big challenge looms in the form of Kimi.

This is probably one of the most competitive phases in Formula1 and we are lucky to witness it.

Rightly said. I think we are about to witness rivalries which might last a few years like the Prost-Senna or the Schumacher-Senna/ Schumacher-Hakkinnen etc. These guys are in the same age-group working with cars & regulations which seem unlikely to give anybody a huge advantage. I think a Schumacher like domination of F1 may not be seen again.

sorry to burst your bubble. But i have never come across a Schumacher-Senna Rivalry. Before any such rivalry could take place, Senna died at Imola in the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. There was a Schumacher-Hill Rivalry after that.

Abs correct. We can never see any one like Schumi. He is great. He proved his talent with 2 or 3 company cars. But i donot think that Hamilton can winn races with any other then Mc Mer. Even we have that Alanso could not do his best with Mc M last year. This shows these people are not ready with accomadate with the company.
