What courageous man to step up when everyone would be having shivery feet....and Alas he had to slip then!!!!
If you want a new definition of bad luck then it has to be John Terry's penalty kick....

On a positive side though, yesterdays match has cleared all the doubts as to who is the better Centre Back - Terry or Ferdinand. And more importantly who is a better leader of men - Terry or Ferdinand. Hope Mr.Capello saw yesterdays game with his spectacles in place....

am really wondering why it had to be John Terry, had it been some other player, there could have been just an element of doubt in it, but him ; a minor mistake that costs a lot. And what about Anelka misses, he should be better off in Bolton. huh...
By the way, that man Didier Drogba(though am one of his greatest fan) does not deserve any glory yesterday, totally unpardonable behaviour.

Although it was an entertaining Match. and myseld being a Man Utd Fan, i really couldnt resist my heartfelt feelings for Mr. Terry!

the Man; the Life & Soul of Chelsea!

if it wasnt for his Amazing Save! there would have been no Penalty Shootouts!

and as the Coach / Teammates had mentioned, it really takes a man to opt to Shoot the Last Penalty!

Hats off to you Mr. Terry!

I guess, Sheva should have been on instead of Anelka, not that he is in a great form, but for the fact that in 2004 grand finale, against Juve and Buffon it was he who tuk the final kick and had won the champs league for Milan. But then the flip side would be that he was the man who tuk the final kick against liverpool at the same stage and a great save from dudek won liverpool the cup. The fact would be that sheva could have handled the pressure better than Anelka at such a big stage.
Sad that it had to be terry, heart sinks for him. He was one of the main reasons that the match did not end in regulation time, what a clearence it was when there was none else around the chelsea goal. Some day Terry will win at a similar stage, I hope.

He is oe of the greatest defenders today, for no dooubt. And, anyone would cry for the bad luck he had to face..only if he had not slipped... he saw the cup going away from his hands..he deserved it..chelsea made to semi-finals 3 times in the last 4 seasons..chelsea deserved to win the cup...its pure bad luck for them..hope they come next time even stronger..
