Turkish GP
by LS Nagarajan on May 11, 2008 09:53 AM

Once again a Ferrari 1-2 is on the Cards.

Reason 1: Absolutely impossible to overtake Massa in his current form and strategy.
Reason 2: Ferrari 2008 appears to have good start off the grid... so won't be surprised to see Kimi overtaking Hamilton in the first corner.
Reason 3: Hamilton has got it wrong with his choice of tyre.
Reason 4: Kovalainen is far too inexperienced to sustain pressure from Kimi.
Reason 5: Remember those words of Kimi during the Spanish GP; "we could have still gone faster but wanted to save on our engine"..

....so for all the above reasons, I expect the Turkish GP to be painted all RED.

Sport, huh?

You watch a few guys drive fast and pretend to be thrilled. Your only role in this so called sport is that of a spectator. Unlike criket or soccer or baseball where you can particpate and become a hero, here you remain a zero.

What turns you ON my friend ?? Life is too short to take it so seriously...somethings are just beyond rationalising !! so , let spectators be spectators if that gives a kick to them ....

This is the problem of so called thinkers who in fact are not. MS answer me one question have you never watched a movie? How were you able to participate in the movie? Or coming back to sports: How are you able to participate in soccer or baseball?

You should understand that the main objective of sports, be it racing or soccer, is "not to" show some skills, but to "entertain people".

Dear Raja Sen, I remember your article after the Bahrain GP. The scars of that would i can't forget. Please do not write anything about F1, especially after the Turkish GP, and sully the F1 spirit. Accept that you don't know. And refrain from doing online chats on F1 like you are a guru. In the interest of all F1 fans, please consider my request.
Regards,
Vipul

I thought Raja Sen comments only about movies. When did he started commenting about sports. Shame for REDIFF. Employ a better columnist. If not i am ready for the job

Impressive Kovalainen!!!!!!!
by Harish Kashyap on May 10, 2008 07:21 PM

Kovalainen has impressed in every race this season, except for the last race crash. He has come back well after the crash in Spain.

However, Massa will be the one to look out for. He is probably the biggest underachiever now. But, things are looking a lot more straighter now. He has got things back on track and as of now, he seems the most eligible person to win tomorrow's race.

It's about time Massa gets equal treatment at Ferrari. He has done enough to show he too is a world class driver.
