Put him in Jail - barbaric and violent WWE must be banned in India
by veeru raghavan on May 07, 2008 06:38 PM  | Hide replies

he must be arrestd and out in jail for his violent fights which also resulted in the death of one of the wrestlers..WWE fights are barbaric, cruel..their telecast must be banned in India which stands for peace, non-violence and tolerance..

WWE directly impacts everyone's mind since they are telecast repeatedly by TEN SPORTs for the sake of money..

so even all the films should be banned, right Mr.raghavan. Only news and cartoon network should be available. try to watch all the movies that are released everyone enjoy it becoz there is nudity and all the crap.

If you think its voilent y u want to watch it..Instead of appreciating Indians going to hreat places you are saying that ppl shud be jailed.

Yes ... Yes ... Yes ... Put Khali in jail for getting into a profession which sees him get his a** kicked on Live TV so that he can earn money and the viewers get entertained !!! Mr.Raghavan, kindly grow up from this crippled mentality of yours.

Wrestling is a profession for this guy. He earns money by busting his a**. Now whether you or many others like it or not, is none of his concern. Its his job, and he is free to carry on with it.

As for the wrestler's death, it was the promotion's mistake, that their medical team cleared a severely concussed wrestler to get in the ring and caused him to die.

Khali didn't murder or kill him.

Mindelss and uncivilized sport
by Chintu on May 07, 2008 06:36 PM  | Hide replies

So called WWE is a mindless and this is for people who are uncivilized and wants to promote violence. I really dont understand the need of it. People watching and playing the game are heartless and have no kind heart.

This man Khali, whom we are proud of what has he achieved? He has beaten up people who are not of his size and strength. What makes us appluad him? News channels show him as a hero as if he has won an Olympic Gold Medal for India. U can see daily a 30 min program on Khali on Star News, Headlines Today and Aaj Tak. These mews channels have no better news to show. Useless fellows

Next MP/MLA ?
by SENTHIL VEL on May 07, 2008 06:17 PM  | Hide replies

He accepts that the actions are real. I think US government should put him in prison for killing his fellow fighter.
These guys will tell whatever comes in their mind and thinks people are crazy to believe him.
And i feel ashamed to see our controversial prez is inviting to RBhavan. (Tomorrow surely a snake charmer will be invited.)
With this leap, one day he will try to become MP or MLA and he will screw everyone.

He means that a person jumps from a height of 7 feet on other wrestler's stomach & still son of bit*h is alive. Also one wrestler inserts his both fingers in others eyes but that AS*hole is as happy as ever......
Khali is trying to save his bread!!!

Wrestling is Soap Opera for men!
by Dhananjai Taran Dhasmana on May 07, 2008 06:09 PM  | Hide replies

I have been a wrestling fanatic since 1992.I have followed wrestling (not only the WWE but the really brutal Japaneese Feds and indy federations as well) and understand that it is predetermined. The shows are booked. The head bookers in the WWE right now are Ricky Steamboat and a gentleman who was once Ric Flairs memesis in the 80's, Dusty Rhodes (also father of the character Goldust by the way). Dalip Singh (also known as Giant Singh in Japan and now Khali in WWE) is trying to maintain what is called Kayfabe (In professional wrestling, kayfabe refers to the portrayal of events within the industry as real). I would rather have him educate people about the realness of the Fakeness of wrestling rather than try to put one over us....
Regards
A hardcore wrestling Fan

good stuff man.
I think the people of this country should understand that this WWE federation is trying to promote this in India as the management is aware of the rich strength growing affluent middle class in India.
Well said Taran.

Never thought I would see a fellow Hardcore fan in rediff forum.. Feels nice :-) . Kayfabe is still strong in India, unlike in US, so they can create a larger base here. Well good for pro-wrestling

What is your problem if he has made a comment for what has made him popular? Why do we carry so much negative attitude towards our own countryman? We will never come out of crab mentality
