I'd prefer a england vs spain/italy Like arsenal vs barca or manu vs real or L'pool vs Ac Milan like that.. long ball play is very boring and all eng teams(except Arsenal) are very much similar. They have defeated all the spanish and italian clubs to reach the finals and they deserve it..is it their fault that other clubs are out of form!! By the way real madrid were not out of form, they hv already won the spanish league with few weeks left and at mid season they had also created all time spanish record of reaching 50 points in spanish league table in least no of games!! Dont compare EPL with IPL and media coverage!! Media coverage is more for english games coz they are played at afternoon (which is evening in india) so more viewers. Spanish games are played in evenings(which is mid night) and hence not many viewers, so not much coverage!! Also dont agree to ur point that lots of money and stars and no class...the highest paid footballers play for Barcelona and madrid..then it is chelsea and then other teams!! dont even talk abt class..EPL is considered as the best league in the world..like all other managers Even Frank(barca manager) admitted that English league is far better than any other league!! RE:champion by mithun on May 06, 2008 01:33 PM u got it right mr.Vijay for sure.... Arsenal were superb right through the season and played amazing football...far better than Man utd or Chelsea. It was plain bad luck and injuries that forced them out of the race.... Although Mathieu Flamini might be joining AC Milan which is a bad bad news for Arsenal really...he formed a great partnership with Fabregas & Hleb in midfield.. Anyways I am sure the gunners will also make some good signings in the transfer window and will be back with a bang and silverware next season....
