Oy kabootar! Ud ja! Apna Hindutva agenda leke udd ja! we are sick of it. Retarded little BJP and sena rats! India is SICK OF YOU!
Narain is always good during the race for Pole position. Hez been good even when he drove for Jordan during his F1 times, he used to lap up good times. But... unfortunately he cannot go on beyond two laps. Narain is like Sato, very flashy, fast for a couple of laps then the spark dies away. He unfortunately for all of us has never ever turned pole to podium in big races except for 1 A1 GP race.
Well I appreciate Narain's performance, but it beats me why there should be different cars for different drivers, be it in F1 or A1 ? Let everyone race with the same kind of car, say all Ferraris for one particular race, and another car for the next race. So a level playing field will be provided and it will be a true test of the driver and his adaptability to different cars. Somehow i feel just becos u have a Ferrari or McLaren, u get an advantage over some other car like Nissan etc.

In a 3-dimensional world, you seem to viewing in a 2d specially in sport of racing. getting such doubts is common since you are a novice.

Dear Rocky, Would u really think that if Narain and Schumacher had exchanged their seats, Shumi would have won the same nos. of times or would Narain performed so poorly ? So dont u think he is handicapped to that extent ? Unlike other sports, where u can always use the same brand of bat or shoe ur famous opponent is using ?

I think you are very novice man to call him novice. In fact in A1 all the cars are fitted with same engine / make and its driver's capabilities which matters.

Cars do make a difference- but then again they do not - skill and driving techniques play an important part too. You also have to understand the dynamics of the sport - there are times when other cars are better too - car makers pride themselves is revving up their cars to near perfection and each car is unique in its own way.

In A1, all the cars are fitted with same engines.
But, it doesn't mean that all the cars are equal. Becoz, each team is different. It is a team game. Everyone has to be competent - driver, engineers, etc.
Team with best engineers can't win a race if the driver is not good and vice versa.
And there is something called pitstops. A race heavily depends on this pitstops. More the team is quick, more is the chance to win.

In F1 cars or other top racing in motorbikes, its usually done by constructors of different brands and the driver is just a part of it. In A1 the make of the car could also be same, thats why lots of countries like pakistan, ireland, aust. nz. might be racing.

Dear rajesh, A1 allows the same car to all the drivers. This format is designed to be more driver centric and driven by the nationalism feeling it is supposed to invoke when teams representating the country fight it out. F1 is different in every respect.

Dear MS, many of the advance features you see on today's road cars, which you and I drive, are the result of developments made for Motor Sport.
If you compare an F1 car from a few years ago to the one you see today there is a world of a difference. In fact 100s of changes take place even in the course of just one year. From the external shape to tyre to material used for the bosy and components and the components themselves, everything is checked and improved upon.
Traction Control, braking system, gear boxes, drive trains, tyre compounds, lubricants and fuels, steering system, suspension.. the list is endless.
The teams are developing vehicles to win but their work benefits everyone by way of new technologies adopted in general purpose vehicles.

You are correct. Coming to think of it motorsport is the only sport in which we actually gain from and incorporate development into our life / lifestyle
