You know our sports administrators also work as Indian Govt. They selected 18 players and 8 officials are escorting them. Don't understand what observer will do there, chief coach can better observe players & can report back to authorities. There are 3 coaches and a trainer, god knows are they going to train other teams also?? Instead of spending rather misusing money on long list of officials its better to spent tax payer's money on players.
The first big blunder by the present committe is to remove Joaquim Carvalho as Coach of the Hockey Team.Give him time and I am very positive that he will bring results.No coach in any game can give you results in such a short span.I dont think AK Bansal will do any good.Joaquim has much more knowledge of the game than Bansal.Will wait and watch what he does in Malaysia.Wish him all the best.Keep Joaquim as the coach and you will see results.By dropping Sandeep Singh what Joaquim did was right.You have to be disciplined and that what Joaquim wants.You just cant take your place in the team for granted. One more thing is getting Somaya and Merwyn in the committe.All the best for the new committe
I can see the dawn of the Hockey in India. Horizon is getting brighter and brighter. Its time of get our glory back, time to dictate terms and condition to International Hockey federation soon, like BCCI. Time when hockey will be played the way we play in the Indian sub continent. All the best
Well, our team isnt doing too well in Australia in the two 4-nation tournaments, so we definitely need to pull up our socks for the Azlan Shah tourney....the return of Sandeep Singh is a welcome news..he's a match winner and lets hope for the best
