There are few Indians who are making their mark in sports. Your comment is really dumb and that too about a female like Sania who has made her mark at an International level!!! You need some psychological consultation because you cannot stand someone's (fellow Indian's) success. Jealousy br''e
seeing the history of her injuries she should concentrate only on singles, and preserve her stamina only for singles, after all it's a fact her stamina level is not at par with europian and other players.

Should it not be the opposite? Since she gets easily injured in singles she should concentrate on doubles. It is all a moot point however. I have a feeling that Sania is playing only to keep her endorsement contracts afloat.
What has happened with young players after Sania? It is a mystery why there are no youngsters trying to reach the higher rungs of tennis. Even the smaller nations of Europe have lots of emerging male and female players. Is there a lack of athleticism among young Indians?
Immediately after her loss in the pre quarter final in the Indian Wells it was reported that Sania is suffering from injury to her wrist. And she continues to play in the doubles! Whenever she loses in the singles it ismade out that she is not in her full physical strenth.
Sania is good but not good enough for the first 20 yet let alone the 10. She needs to focus more on the game and work much harder to improve her standings in the World Tennis.
Since Sania is still a youngster she requires a mature person who thinks about her welfare to guide her both when she is at home and away playing in tournaments. All the successful young players have had members of their family with them invariably even on tour. It is easy for a young player to be distracted and lose sight of his/her career goals. Has anyone advised Sania to take a leaf out of the books of the top players? Look at the time that the serious players spend in practice and taking care of their health. Sania seems to be inordinately absorbed in making commercials and in modeling assignments. After all she is an athlete not a film star. The medium (tennis court) that she "works" on is unforgiving in the sense that there is no room for retakes as in films or ad shoots. It is more important to do good than to look good.

Twenty One years old does not make her geriatric. After all tennis is not Gymnastics. Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova played well into their thirties and Steffi Graf played till she was thirty. Sania seems to find it difficult to maintain her focus. I guess the point that I am trying to make is that she should have a better value system more tennis and family oriented not so much towards commercialism.

Most of the players around the world are teenagers wheras Sania is already 21. She has a few more years and she wont be improving.
Just keep playing. If not, there are zero postings! Winning or losing, the postings keep coming! Many love to hate you, or is it hate not to have the chance to love you? Does not matter. All are loved!
