The Chess Fed is just like a Russian mafia. They will devise something so he never becomes World no 1. The World championship is another ridiculous thingie. If Anand loses tto Kramnik he does not have a shot at becoming a WC for atleast the next 2 years,because of the way its scheduled. I highly doubt Anands loss to Kasparov now that I think about it.
anand has revolutionalised chess in india. chess has 2 eras in india. before anand and after anand. today, chess is the only sports india can dominate and control the whole world. we have world champs in every category n age grp in chess today.. all this bcoz of one n only anand!!
