For example the second round finished more than 6 hours ago and Anand is currently the joint combined (blind rapid) leader with 3 points along with Aronian and Ivanchuk.

It is amazing that even at this age , Anand's intellect is quite sharp to maintain his position as World No. 1 in chess. But it would be appropriate if he can beat Garry Kasparov at an arranged tornament to avenge his earlier defeats !!!!

probably Kasparov was the greatest player in the sports history. his games were like killing his opponents ruthlessly. he used to psyche his opponents out before the game itself. I doibt if anand can beat him but nevertheless he is the best sportsperson produced by india so far at the global level ( please excuse cricket here, over 100 yrs of cricket yet only 7-8 countries play so its not world popular)

yes u hv a very valid point no doubt kasparov was better than anand but he was far far behind than anand in terms of sportsman spirit.

Anand is really great .. but he wud be greatest if he does some Charity in India like Kasparov does for his country..
