In these days of Energy efficient cars, is there really a need of these type of events that guzzle tonnes of fuel. These cars are guzzlers and consume way too much fuel. Until these cars are going to be Electric driven the petrol prices will keep going up. Please don't support this sport unless they do something with the fuel.

Buddy, The reason why you have all the safety features in a commercial car today is because of F1. Seems you haven't been following THE SPORT for long enough. And apart from the entertainment factor, it doesn't burn too much of the world's consumption of petrol since they run on diferent fuel. You clearly lack some knowledge about THE SPORT.

oh.. Shut up..!! Why targetr F1 ..?? Don't you fly..?? That guzzles more fuel.. Why not suggest Government of India to ban Flights..!! :)

Better take the bus and not Auto or your own vehicle the next time you go shopping... That will save more fuel than a F1 ban...

Do you know that a bus or a train or for that matter even a plane consumes more fuel per person than a car on full load, I mean all seats filled up, and if the bus is jam packed with people standing then it actually runs to double what a car uses in full capacity ie 4 seating passengers.

you have a very narrow view of motorsports. the technological improvements that result from such competitions go a very long way in making the cars we drive safer, more environment-friendly and a lot more fuel efficient

seems you do not have much idea about the sport.i guess u have a disk break on ur car.well MR.Madhusudanan, that came from F1.besides there is a better option than banning F1: hw about taking the local bus for going outside. and remember to sell of ur car and bike if U have one.
