Ban Bhupathi
by vijay on Mar 10, 2008 03:27 PM  | Hide replies

I have never seen anyone as worse as Bhupathi. If only he and Leander had played together, they would have won so many Grand Slams n other titles n would have ruled men's doubles tennis. He succumbed to the evil designs of his coach Enrico Piperno who became extremely jealous of the popularity of Paes - Bhupathi. Also, now Bhupathi is managing Sania n ensured that she does not play in Bangalore Open, but will play in the other tournament in India promoted by his company Globosport. Basically for Bhupathi, his selfish interests matters the most. I read somewhere as Bhupathi saying that Leander always took credit by playing the fifth match when anyone else could have played n won. My only question is.. if you guys had played really well would we have had a 5th match at all? You do all the blunder in the initial matches n Leander has to come n set things right. I remember reading that Tendulkar himself has told that when it comes to Patriotism in sports, no one can beat Leander. Just go thru' the (analyse the matches) results of Leander n Bhupathi when they have played for the country n their invidual tournaments. Leander is a selfless true India. These Amritrajs are talking as if they are saint only to cover up the bad behaviour of Prakash Amritraj. What a shame..?

ban vijay first for his stupid comments he made as if he has lived with the indian tennis team members for a long time. Being a spectator no one can guess what went on the back. You cant take tendulkar's praise some time back as the proof to conclude on anyone. When three players are angry against leander, then there is a lot of chance that he is the fouler. A proper probe should be planned to see whats going on. Bhupathi deserves his self respect being the best Indian tennis player and if its challenged, definitely he will challenge back as other members are doing it now.

after Indian hockey died yesterday, here is another sad incident. Indian tennis has been reportedly hospitalized and is put on the ventilation. Doctors have lost hope and have asked its fans to pray for its health and hope for the best.

Indians fight amongst themselves????
by ganesh shyam on Mar 10, 2008 02:15 PM

We hv a serious problem here...Indians never play as a team...if they play one in a blue moon ie they won against Australia in cricket recently. But it wl not last as some wl be jealous of Dhoni...start scheming...Anyhow Prakash Amritraj is basically a American!!!!why play for India bcoz he is jobless in USA & no stamina to compete with Yanks...Ha Ha

Young lads like boppana, amritraj lack skill and capabilities of top level tennis. Leander has always put nation as top priority and upped his game a lot when playing in davis cup, one can remember he even defeated ivanisevich in tie against croatia. Leander has tried to discipline the boys which is very essential. The point is "khelna nahi jante ho, kam se kam discipline to seekh lo"

Tennis - finding fault
by Amit Bhandari on Mar 10, 2008 09:55 AM

Plz. stop finding faults with one another. It is the easiest thing one can do on the earth and does not require any wisdom. We have ample of it in cricket, we had it in hockey. i don't know if it exists in other sports too. It is unhealthy and certainly not gentlemanly.
