Testing Time For Federer
by Ashwin Sardeshpande on Mar 06, 2008 12:14 PM

Federer has been the undisputed champion for the past 4-5 years with no one really threating his supremacy. But now this young brigade of players believe they can de-throne Federer. I think this is a real test of Federer's character and class now. Year 2008 would be a bench-mark year in the tennis history. Lets see if Federer can bounce back and silence his young nemesis once and for all, or would we have a new king . Anyways, we have an interesting tennis season ahead !!!

Mind game by Djocovic
by kachra seth on Mar 06, 2008 11:53 AM

It seems Djocovic is playing a mind game
the way he is praising Murray and calling him the
favourite to have won the match, and calling federer's defeat as unexpected.

Djokovic.... keep it under control...

This is not the first time Federer had "slump", but every time he bounces back, so you'd do better to keep your tongue under the control.

Well Said man, Even I think this year Roger will loose his No:1 status. At least he may not win 2 Grand slam. Note: Every one knows it wil be highly impossible for Roger to win French Open.

This year there are good chances for FedEx to win french open as he is getting trained intact to master the clay court too. One-off or two-off cases could not put him on hold. If you could recall those times, where pete sampras never assumed to be a reigning champion amidst winning 13 grand slams..but this gentleman has won already 10 and also gained a supremacy in the game level as well. FedEx may not loose his numero uno position as Nadal, these days do perform not to his best in grass and other areas outside clay......
