Well most players selec themselves but the most glaring omission is that of Sergio Ramos (Spain). This Right Full Back deserved to be rewarded for his hard runnning game - both in attack as well as defence. Th guy has unbelievable endurance. Spain could not have made it without his contribution.

Exactly...he was easily one of the best players...Zhirkov on the left and Ramos on the right wud have been ideal...
Even though being a ManU fan it gives me great pleasure not to see Ronaldos name in the top 23 players for euro 2008.Mr Ronaldo it just shows that u may be a grt player but its ur teammates who makes u the best...So by playing for Real Madrid for the money (its my dream is a crappy excuse) trust me ull be all shit out thr...

And its so refreshing to note that NONE of the ManU players are in the final nor even in semifinal. That tells you the talent level those bozos have. They have one good year and everyone think they are team of the century...LOL..and mind you they one the league title on the last day and CL on penalty kicks after havign struggled to beat a Barcelona team in the semi finals that was getting raped for 3 to 4 goals a game in La Liga

Andrei Arshavin (Russia), Fernando Torres(Spain) are better strikers both interms of agility,phase and tactics than this so called darling of MU(Ronaldo).

Ronaldo is not a striker genius. He's a winger(midfielder).. Although I'm upset about Ronaldo's desire to move to Madrid, I still hope he plays for ManU being an ardent ManU fan.. Lets be honest.. ManU's prospects of retaining EPL & CL title look bleak without Ronaldo..
