No Desi,

It is not real real love!

A 53 year-old puts up a weaker fight in a divorce settlement than a 25 or 30 year old would!

It won't be surprising in the least if we see these two promoting viagra or cialis in the next 6 months!!

HOW?

Why not think that after 18 years of marriage and 26 years of marriage, they finally found that they were unhappy in those relationships and found the courage to end them.

Everybody has a right to happiness. So what if they are sportspersons?

Pity I see lots of rejection by Indians for this marriage...Actually majority of Indian women want to be liberated but economically they depend on their husband for their survival...So they just fantasise in dreams & enjoy what Evert & Norman did...Indians shud be proud of only corruption in all walks of life which is the present culture..Ha Ha

Hi Ganesh Shyam,
I do hope you repeat this statement if your marriage or those of your loved ones end up in divorce. Wishing you a contented life.

From where did you get this stupid statistic that in US 18% etc. etc.

In real Indian culture sex is/was not a taboo. We had written Kamasutra much before most of the world became civilized.

The culture which you are telling 'Indian' is actually Talibani or culture adopted during Mughal regime.

India was much forward and much more advanced in the field of sex, social structure and social behaviour and science before the advent of Talibans and Europeans.

One more fact of the History which you do not know is....'Phirangees' are actually Portugese who ruled in Goa, Div and Daman. 'Angrez' meant Britishers. French were called 'fransisi'. So there is a diffrence in all this, so I request you to know you facts before commenting.

If the sons and daughters of the two legands do not hae any problem than what is your problem?!!!

If you can not congratulate them at least keep quiet you commerade.

Agree with you totally. Good response.
Also why is this shanti das so much against pursuit of pleasure?
The two of them have gotten married - a sacred institution - they are not living together just enjoying each others bodies which is what they could be doing in an open westernized society.

Where did this idiot pick up the 18%????
Besides in our own culture Draupadi married 5 brothers. Nobody condemns her and it is celebrated.
If you want a Sati Savitri as your wife then you should also be a capable husband to warrant such a woman!

these people are too selfish and their self comes ahead of every thing else. It is unthinkable for us India to separate afte 18 & 26 years. By that they are not two separate entities but jelled in to one.

that is bcos our indian 'bahu' resigns herself to her "fate" and 'suffers' endlessly even in a unhappy marriage

Well it is anyone's guess of whether it is a good marriage or a good business arrangement. Did they sign a pre-nuptial? Otherwise Greg Norman beware....
