he's a great player...will always be remembered as a great player...but new talents should be brought to limelight such as kaka,c.ronaldo,messi etc... now there are many talented players...each and every player is special...

Retirement of star players is nothing new. The management must nurture new players, and help them play under the guidance of the stars to take over.
In Football, it is individual talent and skill, ability to think on the toes all the time, and lots of stamina, with a pinch of luck, is what matters.
France has been lack lustre in this championship so far. Hope they manage pull themselves out of the pits. But Italy seems to be better of the two, though they have also not been that lucky.
