Avram Grant was under the sword since Chelsea lost the League Cup Final to Totenham. He did a good job but credit goes to Mourhino who inspired the Chelsea squad and made them a cahmpion team from a above average team. Avram Grant was infused into the club as Sporting Director because of Abramovich's Jewish origins.Even Ben Haim was recriuted just because he was jewish. But anyway, Scolari is a good inspirer and handles well the suerpstars, as he did in WORLD CUP 2002
Scolari has no chance in England. Only an Europian can make any differances in England. I still think Frank Rijkard would be better coach for Chelsea. Without Drogba and Lampard it will be watchfull that how Scolari manage the Blues.

There is a move to get Deco from Barcelona to Chelsea. So That paves the way for Lampard to move to Inter Milan to join up with his former Coach.
As far as Drogba goes, he is almost certainly out ... Inter Milan looking most likely place.
When this Scolari is going to be sacked by the Chelsea management, may be within few months. Last year Real Madrid coach was sacked immediatly after got the league champions. This year Inter sacked their coach even after he lead the team to top in the last three years (ofcourse first two year on default of some other reasons). Man City sacked their coach after he took the team to the top half. I think the football become a corporate thing and being managed by persons who have no clue about football other than return on investment. All the best Scolari any way. Hey all, may be some mistake in spell or facts, what I am trying to tell here is the Managers are not getting good treatment.
Chelsea can change all the coaches they want...Manchester United will still be on top..
I thought Avram Grant did a pretty decent job and got sacked just because John Terry slipped and missed the penalty..if he wouldn't have missed then...

Awesome post ... Add to that list a certain Shevchenko. He kicked some ... you know what when he was at A C Milan, but ever since joining Chelsea, he's become some sort of a sad-ass striker who scores goals only once in a very long blue moon.

Apparently the game played by Chelsea is not attractive to keep the crowd interested. So Scolari is supposed to change the brand of football Chelsea plays as well. It is not about a missed penalty

good that MU fans are getting tensed since we now have a better coach who can break MU again... For chelsea, even second place is a loss. We need to be champions always in the tournament we participate. Hence, Grant had to go. For MU, any position or no cups is ok, and they will continue to race with old horse. Mission and vision look to be nothing in MU. In chelsea , players are treated with respect unlike in MU (one knows why beckam and Roy keane left the club).

You dont even know ur football....First Jose spells his surname as Mourinho.....and they won EPL for two seasons not three. The club has gone mad, first they sacked Jose and then sacked a good coach inspite of a superlative performance by him.... he just missed the EPL and Champs league by a whisker..... God only knows what a manager has to do to stay at that club... I expect that Scolari will be available at the end of the year to manage some other team.

Abromavich is restless because he could not win champions league inspite of bying possible best players and coaches. He did not learn anything from Porto and Liverpool winning champions league. Spending money alone wont give you the champions league, otherwise, Real madrid would be winning it every year.
