After watching the match yesterday, I can really say that the Italians are missing the defense of Maldini, Cannavaro and Nesta. The defense yesterday looked so bad, in complete disarray. Even the attack wasnt good. I would have gone with Del Piero instead of Toni. Yes he is good, but not like Del Piero. But one think which has been exposed for the Italians is that their defense is not as strong as it used to be.I really hope they get their acts right in the next match and qualify for the quarterfinals. Euro cup without them is not what we have dreamt of.

I guess Luca Toni has a pathetic record at international level and a great domestic record at club levels.
Del Piero is a must start in big games, coz he does come up with great performances, unlike Toni.

They cannot beat any team without improving their defence. Im sure they miss their strong defender Cannavaro.
