You got it Salman, I didn't mean to hurt your religious sentiment but your analysis and solution to problem is very narrow minded. Example: Pakistani's do eat Meat right? And whats their FIFA ranking?
I am sure you are not an Indian or else you would have started the thread with "We Lack in Football" instead of " India lack in football".
Anyways happy meat eating!!!!!!

Explain why Porkistan, with more population than most europian countries are performing worse than India?

And for your information, most of the football loving regions in India are mostly non vegetarian. For eg: Bengal, Goa and Kerala.

Request to Sooccer lover for improvement our Rank
by ujjwal on Jun 09, 2008 10:20 AM  | Hide replies

Hello All,

I have a suggestion to every one as well Indian Sports minister as well as IFA.
Our football rank in world is not enough good rather bad.

I think choose 100 small boys (under 15) those are very much willing to play for football and know some basic of football.

Then divide into 20 boys group and then send them into Brazil (for striker)
, Argentina, Portugal, German (for know how to passing football), Italy (for know how to defense football) for 5-7 years with our cost.

And after that they can play in anywhere either English Premier league or Italy or Japan j league.
But when India will participate any tournament then they will fight for us.

I know some boys those are won Gothiya cup in sweeden or Mayor cup in Switzerland in under 19 to baet like jerman or good teams.

But they are finish due to Good Food habits or Zym or Indian economy(Have to Urn for family)

So please, 140 core people can produce 11 players in world those can won Cup for us.

we need to ban cricket for some time while we show Indian Futball league on TV's. only then will people have interest and we can shape class players for the future. till then indians dont even have the f... to come close to futball.

from an ever futball fan.

No U cant destroy anther sports event. It is not an productive soluntion dost.
If india Participate Football world cup then defintitely mass of india will throw IPL and go for 90 Minutes for Inida.
But inida cant make it 32 place then thwy have no option thats why they go for cricket(where inida have won world cup).
Think how to improve our football without harm to other sporta event.

International soccer stars for Indian League

Only way for football to take off in India is to have a Soccer version of IPL. It sucks for Indian not having a football team.

comeon... it would be good if india has a good football team, but if it doesn't... it doesn't suck. just because a lot of people play it, it is not that we too should play it.

grow up.

Mr Sparrow... you talk like a pessimist who sees no future for India.

I can say that India plays cricket and are very good at it because noone else plays it (to the best just 5-6 best playing nations).

Come one Football is a World Sport.

This is something as a German supporter I find rather strange. Germany have had some fantastic strikers from the 1950s - Helmut Rahn, Uwe Seeler, Gerd Muller, Karl Heinz Rummenigge and of course Jurgen Klinsmann and Rudi Voeller. Why can't they produce a genuine striker now???? They do not have to look far for inspiration.

Yesterdays match however saw Germany at the top of their game. The final margin should have been 4-1 in Germany's favour with Mario Gomez missing two sure goals. Lehmann looked jittery but grew in confidence as the match progressed.

Germany should meet Czech republic in the quarters - that promises to be a crucial match.

Deutschland Uber Alles!!!
