THUMBS UP TO RAFA!
by kalyan on Jun 08, 2008 03:35 PM

RAFA will surely retain his French Open title because he is a King of Roland Garros. Though FEDERER is the alltime best, only RAFA has the heatr to challenge him. Cheers to Rafa.

unfortunately for me and many other people, cheats known as TATA sky have stopped sports channels altogether and their phones are not reachable at all... Good way of blackmail for increasing rates by Rs. 45/- per month. Not any different from old cable walas.

Your base module can be anything. Log into their site, go to 'My Tata sky' and select 'Sports premium' and confirm it in the next screen. You will be poorer by 40 or 45 monthly, after that.

try beating rafa...
by kamal harish on Jun 07, 2008 03:04 PM  | Hide replies

guys everyone seems to conveniently forget the fact that federer did not win a grand slam until he was 22 years old and rafa has already won three and he is just 21...his best years are ahead of him and he is already closing in on the No.1 ranking...agreed federer is one of the greats in the game but watch out for rafa...and remember the head to head record...its 10-6 in favour of rafa....

that is fine,he will win 30 granslam or 100?
but request to make clay court every where..otherwise little difficult.10-6 9-1 on clay 5-1 on others..just remember that.nadal power won't be win always, jokovic will get 2nd rank from him..wait and see..

Federer and Nadal slug it out tomorrow. What is going to happen today? Will safina be able to stage another comeback?

I think Safina is not going to require a comeback. She is winning all the way.

Circa 1994 French open Women's semifinal.. steffi vs. Mary Pierce.. Pierce had DESTROYED all her opponents and she annihilated steffi 6-2, 6-2.. Unanimously everyone though she will kill Sanchez vicario... but destiny had something else in store for her... she lost in straight sets to Sanchez... U might think "how can i have the audacity to compare pierce with Nadal?" Agreed... Nevertheless on that day nothing can be said.. so all the rafa supporters... Dont be overconfident.. I agree he is far better than Roger going by these matches.. But never underestimate the power of this man who alreday is the GREATEST EVER to play this sport...He has every damn skill written in tennis books and if he unleashed all of them tomm then things could change...

GO ROGER GO... DO IT....

Tell me apart from the three French Open titles and some meaningless clay court trophies what the hell has Nadal won. Comparing him with Federer is foolish. Look how many Grand Slams has Federer won and see apart from French Opens and last years Wimbledon how many finals has Nadal reached?

Absurd! How can you even think of comparing Nadal with Federer. Excepting French open Nadal is nowhere near Federer. Remember Federer is the finalist in French open past 2 years, whereas nadal is not finalist elsewhere except 1 year at Wimbledon.

And players who do well at French, will wear out Like Gustavo Kuerten,Sergie Bruguera, Muster etc, much before other players.

GO ROGER!
by ranya sudhakar ravindra on Jun 07, 2008 01:03 PM  | Hide replies

Looking at the way the SF's went; things stand gloomy for Roger. But somehow i feel that roger is reserving his best game for Sunday's final. Also, it seemed he made the mistake of underestimating Monfils; and paid the price with a tough match. But i would not be surprised if he comes out all guns blazing against Nadal; who does seem to be a little uncomfortable against Roger than any other player on clay. Remember the Hamburg final? I think that too was an excellent opportunity for Federer; but somehow he squandered his lead in the 1st set; before Nadal got the better of him in 3rd set. I think Federer has to win 2 out of the first 3 sets to stand a chance of winning RG.

C'mon loosing 3 sets doesnt mean that hezz been playing bad. And whoever thinks Fedex lost his charm n not playing to his capability are not taking a close, look on his backhands, which is tremendously improved n now Nadal has no chances this time to beat him as the last two times he won against him was coz he was targeted his backhand almost everytime.
So Nadal be prepared as Fedex gonna FEDEX u this time round.
All the luck Federer..We love u

Ash is Dumb as usual.. If wimbledon becomes as slow as Roland Garros then Nadal would have won 5 wimbledon titles!!!! Instead he heasnt won even a single grand slam apart from RG... U dumb girl first prive your track record and then speak.. Nadal IS YET to [rove his track record in other surfaces.. He is NIL as far as other grand slams are concerned.. Dont undermine the achievements of Fedex who has established his supremacuy over every court in this world... and as far as head to head goes if u take away clay and grass Fed leads Nadal 3-1 on hard courts...16 consecutive grandslam semis..!!! how many consecutive semis as Nadal reached..?? Federer by far is the greatest... cant see anyone catching upto him

As u said Nadal demolished the FEDEX. i hvnt dreamt of seeing him playing this bad. By his standard it was the worst game he ever played and i dont want to see him loosing like this again. Please FEDEX play for us.
Why u get so nervous playing against him, pls dont be..hezz just human and u r GOD.

I am also ardent fan of Roger, but seeing y'days matches it's very very tough for Roger to beat Nadal on Clay, but again if there is someone who can defeat him on clay is again Roger. So let's see.

Go win Roger
