After Steffi Graf had retired, women's tennis wasn't even half as interesting. And then came Justine- who took tennis to a different level altogether! But now, after her, it is back to square one :)
Heres wishing Justine good luck for her future endeavours! May she excel at whatever she chooses to do in future.
Justin Henin was the most dedicated and sincere tennis player of current era. When Sharapova, Ivanovic, Serena are equally active on ramps, Justin spent all her time and energy towards tennis and only tennis.
I had personally lost interest in Women's tennis after Steffi-TheGreatest retired. But, i started following each and every match of Henin.
I bet no player currently active in tennis, men and women included, can hit a single-handed backhand like Justin Henin. Ya, Federer does that too, but no other player.
Thanks Justin Henin for taking women's tennis to a magnificant level.
Wishing Henin all the luck in the world for whatever she ventures into.
It feels gd to read such articles who described sm acheivements of gr8 persons rather cheep media reports.... we'll definetely miss justine's class... hp 2 hv her a gr88 life!!
After a long time, finally a very well written article on Rediff!!!! And rightly for one of the best players of our generation. We will miss you, Justine. Always awaiting for your comeback!!!!!!!!
Thats all i have to say,for a player who stood her ground through all her personal turmoils, and proved that she is the best .. Simple yet Outstanding .. Very much like her idol Steffi .. Will miss her setting the court ablaze .. :(
This is an excellent tribute by a sports personality to fellow sportsperson. I honestly like to know what Nirupama felt about her limited or no success at all on the international arena. Its not to belittle her but only to know what makes indian female tennis pro almost listless when compared to kinds of Justin or Kim etc...

I would be happy if she replies "I didn't work as hard as Justin did or I never pushed or thought myself of winning a grandslam"
