Sania's doubles partner Mattek (who is unseeded) beat 11th seed Vaidisova whereas Sania (who is 16th seed) lost to the 122nd ranked Chinese... I think even in wibledon , she had done better than Sania.... IF this continues, Mattek might consider change of partner..
sandipan you have a point . this is how the tnnis points scoring sysyem works .
as long as you keep playing you get points .and if you win against a higher ranked player you get mor points.
sania problem has been only winning against lower ranked players from 80 - 200 ranked .
but she plays more matches than these lower ranked players and gets invited to all the grand slams 1) because she is indian and it increacers viewer ship for the game . 2) because she is ranked 30 by playing a lot of games .
if this 130 ranked player plays like sania she will also easiely reach sanias no :30 easiels ...
what sania should do is take a break for 6 months train well ,reduce her injuries and then come and play ...
but the smell of money keeps me and sania go crazy ....hahahahah
the day she announced that she would not play in India,she is not performing well and crashing out in 1/2 rounds.She should apologised to indian public immediately.

Mani: Tennis is not a team sport and she is representing herself. She can play where she wants and when she wants. Anyway, whenever she is here she is harassed by the media and the jobless activists.

what is really sad is that she is not able to make progress inspite of having loads of talent. Vijay Amritraj said that she is top ten material and that guy knows his tennis
But stop harping on her doubles wins, they count for very little, she should show her mettle in singles.
I wonder every now and then she losses to lower ranked players and still she is ranked in 30s, she should now give up tennis and should concentrate in movies, there she might bring some awards..
