Those guys have high class facilities and they are trained and nurtured from their childhood. In our case, you atheletes, doesnt have any facilities like them. You start practising only a month away (exceptions will be there). In this scenario, if u come even 10th we will be proud of you.
Only shooters or tennis doubles is where we put our money..other then that...all are going for nice paid vacation in china. Just an advice ceck out the limit of items you can buy from china and bring to india.
why did hocey team did not qualify for olympics - they dont like chinese food!!!
Guys...hope the team does well...but not sure why are we sending swimmers....It is a joke.Non of them have ever finished in top 5 in asian games leave alone olympics...why waste money rather use it to develop hockey..Chak De India
Is it not surprising out of 100 Crore people only 57 sports poeple are selected. It is true and shame where most of them only watch cricket and forget all other sports.
This time getting atleast one or two medals is going to be night mare..........

This is always ridiculous, come olympics the first to be targeted is Cricket........ Come on show me a minister capable of taking his position seriously and thereby get all the training facilities in India and then I will agree to many.. Remember, Cricket was not such a sport as it is now in the 1980, it was only when the Hockey declined due to rubbish politics that people turned to Cricket, whatever cricket is today because of cricketers and its administrators, Don't blame the chicken for goose pimples..... I wish the olympic squad all the best..... Let there be more medals this time......
