The junior hockey team lived upto its reputation as defending champion. But what about the various sports channels, including our own DD Sports ? They bore us with inconsequential games/sports/interviews, but have no heart to show hockey. Why then blame the hockey players ?

They played really well.
Especially the Rowdy game against Pakistan was great example of sorry state of education among these sports persons.

Good work done by Junior Indian hockey Team. The title came at the right time. Because Indian Seniors are not performing well. This win will be the lesson for the seniors.

Doordarshan will make all hue & cry thru Prasar Bharathi, when the Senior Cricket Team is playing anywhere - say even in Africa & Antarctica.

Is this any less than our boys winning the 20-20 world cup. I don't think so,
look at their happiness, look how they make us proud.

Now i have a few questions, where is the media here ? 20-20 is hot news and this is not ?

this is our national game ? where is the media coverage, 10 sec clips but for cricket 1 hours sessions.

where is the welcoming bus charades, and announcement of big money prices.

Where is the PM call to the team saying well done boys !

i don't think you can blame the teams get demotivated by the time they become senior players.
