leander won medal in 1996 at atlanta. and twelve years on he is still part of our medal hope. something is seriously wrong here. we dont seem to understand that world sport is much more competitive than that. then there is this personal rivelary. it makes already ridiculus thing even more pathetic.
our managers should take a view that there should be at least five players to replace existing stars. otherwise what are they doing.

Replacements are Prakash Amritraj and Rohan Bopanna....Gaurav Natekar had a lot of talent but that talent was friterred away by the myopic Indian establishment.....
Hope Rohan and Prakash get then right sponsors, coaches and the right exposure and i'am sure both are ATP top 50 material......
When bhpathi said that he and Paes needed to play more tournaments together paes said Bhupathis is Childish. Now you can see the results and say who is childish
If Paes/Bhupathi win any kind of medal I will think that I do not know my sports. No chance there. They are too old and too disjointed, on the mental side!

Correctly said. Doubles need reflexes and coordination. coordinatiion is something that improves with playing together in a season.
Money wins over national pride. A perfect example of this is Paes-Bhupati partnership. Initially when they played together they were winning. But as soon as success went into their heads they fell apart. Sham on these two players. RETIREMENT IS THE ONLY OPTION.

Yes, I agree with you. Let some young players take part instead of these selfish ones.
Nothing surprising about it. Both were playing with different players, now comes together for convenience sake. It will be difficult for them to perform well in Olympics. Anyway we do not have any medal hope in Olympics.

Not only you, we are also not surprised. Better India send someone who has not played at International level. Let them visit Beijing and come home instead of sending couple of selfish persons. What you say my dear friend?

we indians have a problem. we tend to think that successful players fall from skies and its their job to repeat the success dispite age fitness.
our managers should take a view that thare should be at least five persons to replace existing stars. otherwise what are they doing.
