When Borg declared Nadal as the pre-tornament favourite, he only said what was visible; to everyone. Federer had undergone a slum hitherto unheard of, and Nadal, had not just thrashed Federer in Paris, but had also managed win a title on Grass. Borg was perfectly justified in his opinion. Now, he has changed his mind. He has every right to change his mind. There is an old saying; that a person who never changed his mind, never had any mind. It goes to credit of Federer, that by virtue of his flawless tennis, he has forced a change of mind on no less a person than Borg. Borg nowhere prophessed that Nadal would win. He just said that Nadal was the favourite. If Federer has played perfect Tennis, Nadal has played awesome Tennis. The way he simply cast aside crowd's favourite Andy Murray, had to be seen to be believed. There are some though, for whom, Nadal is still the favourite.

Anybody can win tomorrow. It all depends how they play as both has the capability to beat other. But I support Federer. May of the guys are simply supporting Nadal as he is young. Though, I belong to Indian youth, I must say we should not apply the same logic in tennis as we have for Indian cricket. We must accept the fact that age is not an issue till the time someone performs. Federer is older than Nadal but if he plays good tennis why shall we just support Nadal as he is young. If somebody has personal preference that is something else. Have we all forgot that Aggasi won his last Grand Slam at Australian Open at the age of 33. Why shall we just say always that only young must succeed. If we say so first we have to make sure young perform at top level as well. Getting quick bucks in IT and call center does not make young. As to be really successful everybody needs time. Only few like Sachin can be hero since age of 18. And come on guys, Federer is only 26. How many Indian young chap get a job at that age??? And he has won 12 Grand Slam.

As&shole, Can even spell "B.O.R.G."???? Insignificant little weed, Borg was not just a great player...he was an icon and an absolute genius...to win 4 consecutive French opens and 5 consecutive Wimbledons, inspite of the fact that grass was not his favourite surface, speaks volumes about his greatness..
But, why am i wasting my time on a moron like you????

Borg is not the one to crave for media attention! He was asked by McEnroe after the French Open final to predict Wimbledon winner this year and he picked Rafa simply because Rafa has been playing some amazing tennis in recent times.
But like a true champion, Federer has taken Borg's comment as a motivation to raise his level at Wimbledon.
