So far so good...

I think Sania has done fairly well to break the 30 barrier. But, she is already 21. If she hopes to break into the top 10 this year, she must look at a professional coach and reduce the number of tournament in which she plays doubles and mixed doubles (these are played to earn a little bit of money). She should probably move to the US and work from there for a couple of years.

Look at Shahar Peer - how improved is she? She has even dumped Sania from her doubles team and reached the finals at Oz open.

Time of reckoning for Sania - 2008.

No. 1

It is easy to reach at top but it is difficult to remain at top....which is not there in Sania...Her game is not improving if we compare her performances in grand slam..she is not able to reach any of the quarter final even...Why dont she learn from Martina Navratilova..the undisputed tenis queen or John Macnroe 17 time winner...we have NONE...

I personally don't think Madhuri Dixit has any class. There have been and will be better actress then her she is not up to the standard how she got the award no one knows.
As for LATA and ASHA they got 9t after a long time because there was no competition for them.
If they were singing in moder India they will have big competition against them.
The quality of singers on (SA RA GA MA proves it)that there is and was a big talent factory out there.
Sania has been competing against the world right from start, and she has proved that she cna be the best (just give her time.
If Madhuri,Lata,Asha had to compete against the world they wouldn't have stood a chance.
Sania set to become Asia no.1 is great this show her critics that she means business.
WELDONE SANIA< MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.

I totally agree with you Sheetal Kaur....Madhuri Dixit is definitely not in the same class as Rani Mukherjee or Preity Zinta.....
We should not even mention her name in the same breath as a Rekha or a Shabana aazmi....

bollywood actor/actresses are mostly mediocre acting in mediocre films. just because they are celebrities does not mean they can compete on a world class level. they are lucky not be exposed explicitly by opponents as sportsmen are .

comparing them to to people with real world class skills is stupidity unlimited!

Well by looking at her u'll come to know, that she is chubby and lazy.
u are saying about time, i think she is been playing for 4 yrs still cant go past 3rd round in any big tournament.

And you shud always comapare to the league in which she is playing not to normal person. if apurva is sleeping lot many hours and gets up late does not mean sania is not lazy....hahah.. she shud be comapre to no.1 tennis player buddy.

Well dOne Sania.. It was a treat watching you at the Asian Games in Doha and along with Paes winning the medals... You must have really enjoyed the crowd support in Qatar. ..You have come a long way after that... now The Olympics Medal is the next thing we expect from you and you can be very near to that No.1 spot. But But But... You really need to improve your 2nd Service which I feel & noticed has been very weak and all your opponets too are quite aware and tries to pounce on your 2nd serve... ALL THE VERY BEST to improve it.. Cheers and enjoy the aura of being ASIA's no. 1 player.... Bobby
