I was hearing the full presantation of the match. Djokovic said that "I know u all wanted Tsonga to win but i won. He also said but still i love u all. And Rediff is putiing something from their pocket. ("I think it will be crazy house back in Serbia right now") these words he never said.
IN NEXT 60 YEARS NO INDIAN WILL WIN A GRAND SLAM AND JUST FORGET HOPING SANIA TO WIN..IF ANY INDIAN WINS I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS FORUM.. I really wish sania wins but she is concentrating on improving her rank bu being in 20 or 30 but she never gears up for a win..she is happy with what she has
India need to be ruled by a Nation which concentrates on sports just like Brits taught us cricket

INDIA DOES NOT TO BE RULED BY OTHER PEOPLE. IT ONLY NEEDS HONEST AND HONEST PEOPLE TO SERVE HER WHY YOU HAVE SUCH A POOR SELF ESTEEM

yeah man "good one great one" u guys keep kicking each others a**es and have a wonderful time , the very brutal fact is sania mirza cant win a grand slam with the fitness level she shows on the court, she can become another satisfied mediocre sportsman by winning in doubles where no one gives a rats a*s, we indians are great at work and have sharp minds but "will power and trying to succeed against all odds" is not the kind of mentality we indians posess , WE ARE JUST A SATISFIED LOT WHO JUST cant do that LITTLE EXTRA TO COME UP TRUMPS , AND me being a indian feel really bad at the state of affairs , cricket is the only game we play and even there australia whips our a*s , "after all that umpiring and shit which happened in sydney i really feel india could have very well drawn the match and not lost wickets to michael clarke , our attitude reflects in our culture, "SOUNDS PREACHY SO BE IT THIS IS THE REALITY
Voila! What a fantastic match. Unseeded Tsonga surely looked as formidable an opponent to Nole as any other seeded one wud. He produced some fantastic aces...wz amazed at them! But I guess its nerves that matters in a match which runs into 3 sets atleast (n this wz a 5 setter to start with). Novak reigns supreme ....Way to go!! N Tsonga .... surely to watch out fr in future tournaments!

I feel myself fortunate enough to watch this match. It was simply a treat to watch for. I was amazed seeing Tsonga Forehand that worked in his first set but somehow dint work in the next sets. I am quite sure if he is coached well he will be anytime formidable to any player. Being a Federer chauvinist I scare for him because rite from here onwards it will be difficult for him to win Grandslam since all young bloods are firing like anything. I hope Federer will workout and come out with some scintillating victories.

Even china didn't win a grand slam. India had infact won a few grand slams with Paes-Bhupathi. Sania Mirza was ranked 31. Come on guys. Progress is happening. This is despite the fact that India never encouraged any sports during her 60 years of existence. The middle class which is best equipped to encourage sports often chooses academics over sports. After all, who would let go of lucrative careers and opt for sports which is intensely competitive and never ever lucrative until you make it to the limelight. The mindset should change. That alone can make Indians succeed.

you need noy be no. 1 to gain respect......tsonga who no. 38 when he beat Nadal who is no. 2 and guess wat he earned lots of RESPECT.
The Australian Open this year is important because it represents a fresh new attitude in tennis. For the past 3-4 yrs, it was dominated by the Fed-Rafa duopoly, and that has been finally broken-NOW does it mean its the beginning of the end for Fed? I dont think so-I think it will make him leaner and meaner since he is no longer weighed down be expectations to keep recordbooks like consecutive GS finals etc. It might even give him fresh impetus to focus on FrenchOpen, where he will be 'one' of the favorites.I think even Nadal will feel vulnerable with Djoker breathing down his neck now. So the Hardcourt season is key to Djoker cementing his status as the "2.5th" player..if the opportunities are right and he makes most of 'em, he could even dislodge Rafa from no-2 which will in turn force Rafa to adjust his game. So while it is not a 'watershed' year, it would very well signal a change in the way the top-5 view each other-as close adversaries rather than have 1 God and 4 worthy disciples. This would be reminiscent of the Borg/Mac/Connors/Lendl era from 1979-1984.
it was indeed a nerve wrecking match and what a match!!what amazes us is that a small country like Serbia can produce world class tennis players(yes, they get trained in the US of A,big deal)but hey, why are we lacking behind? enough of cricket, time to train and give our young indians the best in other sports too, cos they can also bring laurels to the country . meanwhile, we are proud of you Sania,Mahesh.... keep the indian flag flying!!!!!!!!!!

This is a typical indian comment..... Just because the match was nerve wrackin doesnt mean throw out your cricket bats pick up a tennis racket and start playin tennis...... Grass isnt really green on the other side when you look from this side
