Same thing happens. She always gets out in the 2nd or 3rd round mostly. She can't compete with the top seeds. Only thing I can say that she has got stunning looks.
If I remember correctly, when Sania became the world number 31 or 32 for the first time, Jelena Jankovic was only one or few ranks above her. While she climbed steadily from there to world No 3 currently, our Sania went from 32 to 64 or something n now has again come to 32. So where lies the problem? I agree with what a has told. Especially the point 3. She has got great power in her shots. But sometimes they need a bit of control. At times its better to have 70-80% power and more court play. That was clearly seen a number of times. So the tennis brain has to be dveloped as well. Sania should not be contended to just enjoy the publicity n stay in the 30s itself. Rather she is must show the hard urge to be the top 10 player in the world. She definitely has got the shots. Dunno what else to say.

not really. sainiks are not killers. mullas are killers. sainiks can tolerate other religions if they are peaceful. mullas hate other religions. get out of your psedu secular mode.

That was the reason..... i said fanatic sainiks... and even hardcore mullahs... there are adjectives added... not everyone is included...nor this debate is about any religion... it was about countries backwardness with respect to other sports...

Can you please let us know how african nations win so many medals in athletics inspite of not even having 5% infrastructure campared to europe US or australia..... other factors like stamina, physical structure etc is also important.. asians are not so heavily built plus have less stamina as campared to africans.... the same africans will never win any medals in gymnastics... hardly any black is seen in gymnastic floor... russia,US and even china nowadays are winning more medals in such games... will u send ur daughter in gymnastics, athletics ..... i bet you wont coz indians refrain from all these... thats our mentality ... education is important for us,marriage is important... unlike other countries where marriage is just a show off.. divorce can occur even the next day..i know u will say this happens even in india but again the proportion is too less campared to western countries... anyways india should focus on rural children to come up in sports coz if trained properly they can become world beaters in any sports... aur ye sab kabhi nahi hoga
When i see venus williams, serena williams, amelie mauresmo's game ... its all about power...this is not the way woman's tennis used to be... steffi graf, sanchez vicario, sabatini used to play from baselines... sometimes coming towards net there strokes were not as powerful as the names i have said earlier... so much of rallies used to happen for single point which is nowadays hardly seen in woman's tennis... we have to appreciate justine henin ,kuznetsova, jankovic, sharapova who are still capable of beatin these players....but still the woman charm of tennis has lost due to such powerful hitting...anyways sania u played ur best and since you are gettin more chance to play against such powerful hitters you are even gettin more experience and hope that you will also win against such players in near future....

dude, don't add Mauresmo in that list. She has the most beautiful game in women's tennis. Watch tennis before you comment on it, please.

mauresmo is a good player no doubt but she plays like men's tennis powerful hitting... and very less rallies...i have seen her game many times subhash and after watching her game i have added her in this elite list...

And sharapova is a dirty hitter. I am sure you don't watch or understand tennis. Refrain from talking about it.

people like subhash who think they know everything and respect no one else's opinion are the scourge...
What the nation, the Indian media, and more than them Sania herself, needs at this moment, is a few more tennis players with the same amount of talent in the WTA ot ATP circuit.
This will divide the attention - which is presently bestowed on Sania alone - of the media and the fans.
The media, which creates almost all the controversies surrounding the celebrities, will leave Sania alone then, hopefully.
Dear Sania, I'm no expert but doesn't mean I don't observe and can't give positive criticism, so here's my 2 cents: Your forehand, awesome. Backhand above avg, serve average. But the thing you need to work on isn't your technique, but your attitude. You like any Indian lack killer instinct. After leading 5-4 in the 1st, you failed to go for the kill, but slumped back and let things happen. I know you know all that, so here's my solution. * Whenever you play, think nothing but destroying the opponent, kinda like Sharapova (check her recent scores). I didn't see her smile while she led 6-2, 5-0, but she was only thinking of destroying Dementiava. While I saw a lot of smiling from you against Venus, when you led in the 1st. It showed you have already patted your back even before closing the deal. * Buy your family a big screen TV, ie leave them at home. Bring enthusiastic people in your box who can pump you up and keep reminding you to be a killer on the court. BTW your family looked like they have come for a funeral. Again check with Sharapova's dad. * Don't let opponent's name overwhelm you. Your game showed like you were always reminded, whom you were playing. Believe that you are better than your opponent if you really want to win, no need to be realistic and humble. Hope while waiting for your match, you checked out Tipsarevic make Federer(best of all ages) sweat, while carrying an air of confidence with him. I'm sure Tipsarevic was no 1 in his head, and maybe he will be i
