It was disheartening to see Dempo succumbing to the tactics of Mahindra United. As always, Mahindra played a defensive and a lacklustre game with four of their players marking Ranty and Chiddi and so many offside traps. But What were you doing, Dempo? Your performance was pathetic and worse was goalkeeper Abhijit Mondal. We did not expect you to bitterly disappoint your fans who had come to see a good football and see you win. My little son aged 8 and a guest from Goa who had come all the way from Mira Road, travelling in crowded train had to go back home sorely disappointed. We who are waiting to see you crown the I-League champions this year received a severe bolt and it looks like our dreams will just remain a dream. I only hope that this game should be an eye opener to you and Armando Colaco that there is a still greater challenges to conquer against JCT and the Big two of Calcutta. It is sad that your unbeaten run has come to an end. Hope we are not in any more disappointment. Come on Dempo, you can make it. All the best for your remaing matches.
