Partly true - doing quite well in Snooker/Billiards, Hockey, Shooting, Archery, Wrestling. Of course, Anand is world champ in Chess, along with quite a few others at IM and GM levels. Yes, we are generally poor at athletics, swimming and so on, but then I think we are moving in the right direction there too.
Just glancing at this blog, make me thing, Indians mind and the tolerance, they have for each other. The country is build on race, color, creed, caste and strong beliefs on religious pratices. How could India survive such infrastructure? It's progressing towards backward, though India's economy is booming up. The posting of remarks show the low category people live in. Only god can save India.
