I am glad to have this team racing next year and even though expectations are very little it will go a long way in promoting racing in our country. Yes, this is a business adventure and thats modern world for you..... Yes, it does not have an indian driver, so what? it will in years to come... Lets enjoy the game and watch this team hopefully mature in years to come.
I cant wait for March for both Lewis Hamilton, Kimi and Force India.

First of all the ad campaign featuring Shahrukh talks as though this team represents the force of India which is not at all true. This is a F1 team owned by someone who happens to be Indian by nationality. This is not done to promote the sport in India nor to provide Indian drivers an opportunity. This is a pure business venture of Vijay Mallya hence this team to me is no different than a ferrari or a mclaren. Just by naming your team Force India does not mean the whole country rallies behind them.

I am definitely dissappointed that none of the Indian drivers are in this team. So for Mallya its business first, i dont have any problems with it. My problem is with his advt campaign that trys to fool public by makin them believe that this venture would put India's name in F1, will be a new start to F1 etc. You are being business like and why dont you accept it. Why is hard core commerical venture masquaraded with vermillion of patriotism?

Agreed, that the ad campaign is to accrue more business. Let us first get into F1, later all other issues like patriotism and favoring countrymen would follow. This is simply because of the cost of maintaining F1 team.
I would congratulate Vijay Mallya for having the courage to enter into F1 and also Shah Rukh Khan for appearing the ad campaign.( I am not sure if SRK is charging for the campaign).
Anyway, our first step into F1 seems to be strong and as VM's directives to his executives to be on the podium in 2010, is a good omen. I wish Force India gets into podium this year itself.
Let us all wish Force India a great entry and good luck.
