Revolt by ..... Prakash (who?) Karan (who?) Rohan (who?).

Paes wears the tricolors on his shirt emotionally. Should we bother at all of the others!

Paes.....who stays abroad comes to India to meet Rhea Pillai (As told by Mahima Chowdhury) just 'cause he is a great player and won medals, does not mean he can dictate terms and humiliate any one and every one. If these boys dont' want him as their captain, let Nandan look for another one.

Hey Rhea Pillai is former wife of Mr Dutt. Who is meeting whom? Who is this Mahima Choudhary? By the way who is Paes? Are you talking about 'pacemaker'?

Bhupathi inciting playes against Paes
by sai krishna on Feb 25, 2008 12:40 PM  | Hide replies

Mahesh Bhupathi may be greatest doubles player India might have produced, But he done very little to the country compared to Leander Paes. Mahesh Bhupathi more interested in making money in his professional career but what we have seen from Leander that he too was professional but when prestige of India at stake in Davis Cup he pumps himself 100 times. Remember about Bronze medal he had achieved at Atlanta Olympics. Semifinal win against France in France in Davis Cup match he won both his singles against ( Henri Leconte at the time world No.9 and A.Boestch, world No. 18 at that time) That is Leander Paes. I dont think Mahesh Bhupathi done any thing extraordinary rather than winning Grand Slams in doubles and Mixed doubles with foreign players that too for his professional cause. Bhubapthi is in partiuclar inciting players to go against Paes. I request AITA to take action against Bhupathi.

Bhupati should be kept out of tennis in India, for the sake of tennis. He has instigated Sania not to play in bangalore as the organisers did not give the sponsership rights to his globo spot company. Why is this joker making union every whare god alone knows. Its time the country stands behind its hero paes.

Younus Bhai, he may not have won any singles matches in his professional career to make money. But he plays very well in Davis Cup matches. Always thinks about country than his career.

the whole problem started with sania mizra

both bhupathi and paes wanted to play with sania in the grand slam mixed doubles section,
this is one of the most important reason which lead to split between the two

SACK ALL
by CHANDRA SUBRAMANIYAN GANGADHARAN on Feb 25, 2008 12:06 PM  | Hide replies

There should be no compromise on discipline.

As it is we are going to lose in the Davis Cup with the current 4 players. So it would be better to sack all the 4 players and MAHESH and have a new team under Leander.

As it is all these 4 players have non existent ranking in the tennis circuit

Is this a military regime to sack renowned players like that? It is necessary to understand why a revolt has taken place. Indian public is interested in seeing some great wins in Davis cup which unfortnately has been elluding for long time, for some petty personal behavioural problems like ego clashes and cheap popularity.

Obviously, the discontent has been simmering for a long time and now it has surfaced openly. Most of it must be happening before the eyes of the concerned association authorities, who conveniently ignored the signals and let it magnify. It is they who should be sacked and not the players.

At least now, let there be a fair assessment of the situation and a good solution be evolved.
