good to see rediff posting articles other than cricket in the front page. Atleast after reading these articles people will see that there is a huige universe outside of cricket.
Can anyone tell me whether players are, in addition to being awarded red cards, also criminally charged with causing grievous injury while playing as Mr. Taylor did!!!!!!

No you can only be banned for a certain number of matches,and that too if arsenal pushes for a ban. It was a terrible injury praying the youngester is able to recover quickly.
