If getting involved in controversies is the reason for her to pull out of the tournaments in India, then she should make it a point to never play in India again. Stars and sportsmens must pay some price for the undue coverage that they get by media and if they cannot cope with it then they do not ought to be famous. As for India, I am sure there will be another rising star someday soon in tennis other than Sania. Basically she is too money minded..and that is the real issue for her to pull out of the tournament.
Looking at such sportsperson, one must admire Sachin tendulkar who carried enormous pressure on his shoulder for almost 2 decades and did not give some crazy reasons to pull out of tournaments

A few bad innings and bloggers here will be tearing into Sachin like a pack of mad dogs. Sachin is superhuman to be able to take the unfair attacks. Everybody can't be so tough. Sania is sensitive and much younger. Please leave her alone.

Yes, I agreed with you view, Sania is too money minded. May be she is no.1 in Asia but still she has not produced any impact on World Tennis. One year back or so she wanted to open academy for what?........gaining moneny
For such type of player people should say please don't play in our country. who dont have pride of palying on home soil.

pls do not compare stupid cricket with tennis, tennis is far better sports which proves someones individual capacity.and u need to have courage to take responsibility if u lose or win, unlike cricket if they lose they will show hands from spectators, selectors, coach, whether, etc... whoever they find in their way.
i feel the major controversies against her is because she is a "muslim" & "woman".
All the advertisers should come together and withdraw the brands she endorses from her. She will come begging on her knees with folded hands. Its all about getting appearance money and improving the brand value. How many singles tournament has she won? we should stop bothering about non-performers. For glamour we can always look towards Bollywood and hollywood. Better products are available.

"non-performer" ur rigt my friend if the politicians, media and hypocrits will pressurise her she will be a non performer can you name me any other woman lawn tennis player as successful as Sania. If she is good looking what is her fault in it please stop blamming her because of her beauty you tell me which player gets an advertisement without performing only beauty does not make advertisement influential the people today marks the image of the people who advertise it she got the advertisements bcauz she has performed and she will perform further if the Indian public and media allow her to do so.please for world sake stop peeping into players personal life and try to catch out why they are not doing well and offcourse the advertisements should be given after the players have acheived a certain level.
some idiots have the pratices of removing the posts. Why the feel offended to Know the truth. There is no shame in knowing the truth.Have open mind on every topic and you are free to counter it by replying.Test every thing on ligic and law of natural justice instead of following old beliefs blindly like blockheads.Tendency of questioning and enquiry is very essential for development of human civilisation
They should just look at themselves and not enforce the religious guideliness on other muslims.. In that case, they will loose the faith in the religion, which is making their life harder..

i think Sania should stand as an example of a moderate women in muslim community not only in india, but also all over the world where muslims live. This will not only increases social status of a women, but also erases fundamentalism among the muslim communities.
it should be the Board of Control for Cricket in India (bcci) which is tarnishing and creating controversies against sania, bcoz she is taking a pie in the revenue of indian sports endorsements.
ust for playing in that bangalore tournament she was given 1 lakh dollars last year.while this year they refused to pay such a huge amount amid of her controversies. So she and her manager MAHESH BHUPATHI decided that not play that tournament.Thats all,Everything was about money and u ppl here fighting in the name of patriotism and u fools go on to condemn cricketers as of they are greed showing this Money minded Girl.Silly ppl fighting for this useless controversy
