Sania should play
by saloni shah on Feb 05, 2008 04:15 PM  | Hide replies

Sania should not give up like this....controversies are a part of every sportperson's life and they are no reason to give up. Sania should play in India for her fans and people who want to see her play.

At the same time government should no entertain people who are trying to drag her into controversies and take action against the ones who declare fatwas or threaten her.

Ok, fine. But here's what it is all about, Sania -
by C Kr on Feb 05, 2008 02:29 PM  | Hide replies

Ok, you really should settle and play on in another country cos most in India don't realize you're marginally better than current players. That might help. However:
- You'd likely lose big time early in Bangalore. Why get embarrassed? Better to lose faraway.
- You really aren't a big champ. For very mediocre achievements, you've been sensationalized by India's II rate media, and comedians that observe any half-step you do. The latter is unfair to you.
- Perhaps you'd do a lot better away from the attention, unless you really want it.
- At 21 many have had multiple GSlam or at least Tier I titles. Seeing you play, that is not happening now.
- Consider yourself a trailblazer for now, and maybe someone else will come along because of you and be a real achiever.
-That doesn't mean you deviate, and try to mop up ads $$ and build a tennis academy.

Another fanatic Aijaj Shaikh.

Kudos to your simple expression - Gandhi. You are the wise one of this age. Gandhigiri.

Yes, truly, she should have been born a Sikh or a Christian. Just being born to muslim parents does not mean that she has to accept the muslim religion. She can embrace any religion, and any action, and any attitude - she chooses. Her dress code, her anti-musalmani stance, and - in fact, her whole life.

It is fanatics like you who put others in clustered chains.

She should seek another place, where she will be welcome and accepted. Of course, you guy will cry for a fatwa, but then, she will be free!!!!!

Bigoted freak of nature!

Lamentable Indians
by Virendra Singh on Feb 05, 2008 08:03 AM  | Hide replies

A huge section of Indians behave just like crab. If somebody tries to rise up, pull his leg and bring him to your level.
Instead of letting a player concentrate on her game, we talk about her dress, her nose ring, her legs, her attitude etc but never how she has brought India onto World's Women Tennis stage.
And our courts always have time for sensational topics like Sania disrespecting Indian flag, but they take two decades to punish a rapist or murderer.
Well, our people deserve this. Sania, if you are serious about your tennis, leave for any other country - they will welcome you and let you play without potty-mouthing.
And when you will some tournaments (which I pray, you do), these very Indians will be claiming you to be India's daughter.

The wisest thing to do - DEFECT!
by Underground Underworld on Feb 05, 2008 06:10 AM  | Hide replies

Dear Sis,

Remember the ol' days when the Russians and east European players defected to other countries, and were welcomed, with open arms?

America, any European Country, or any country you choose - will be glad to give you citizenship. Just show your inclination and see the offers you get.

That's why very few Indian's prosper in India, and everyone seeks to go abroad, becos they are give due recognition and respect.

In Indistan, if one does any great achievement - the minister, the head-of-department, and everyone - tom, his dick and hairy, will want to stand by you and take credit.

Give up India and seek some other more welcoming country. And with the money you make, you can live and survive anywhere.

This is a sincere request. You cannot prosper in Indistan. There is no valour for standing for your country. Those days are gone. Be a global citizen, be free!

People are still in the days of slavery. Nobody wants to see you doing well and flaggards have the gall to try to tarnish your reputation and dedication to the game.

Shame on them, flaggards! And that photographer who deliberately mis-angled the photo-shot, to tarnish your image. And the fanatics gladly swollowed it like spunkz.

And do dress as you please. It is your life. You can always choose whatever you want to do - it just happens that you are born to Muslim parents, but your choices are yours.

Make a wise decision - DEFECT TO ANOTHER PART OF THE GLOBE.

Live FREE!

It is because of Inidan tennis establishment -- it's facilities and support -- that has brought this girl the name recognition she enjoys. She is ungrateful and therefore has forgotten her roots. She is a spoilt brat who will run away to the west and perhaps get into drugs. She does not have the talent to be win a grand slam event. Too bad that we invested so much of our emotion and support on her.

Aaahhsso, since when did she get her 'uprising' in tennis (even if it up to the ranking of 29), in Indistan?

What? "inidan tenis establishment -- it's facilities and support"?
Are you drunk or on stoned? Is there anything like this in Indistan?

She is not ungrateful, dumbwit. As a youngster, she does nt wants PIL's filed against her for something she did not do. Just watch and see the court/s throw out the photographic 'evidence,' that she was trampling on the flag.

You are another flacid flaggard, who would suggest that she will go to the west and perhaps get into drugs. Man, you are on a bad trip yourself.

And since when does everyone HAVE to win a grand-slam? - especially with all the "inidan tennis establishment - it's facilities and support - that has brought this girl the name and reputation she enjoys"

You are a thoroughbred edeyot. As simple as that. This so-called "establishment" nutures unworthy talent that is not fit to win a grand-slam,eh?

MINTO with a HOLE, has "invested his emotions" on her! You are a poor example of a frustrated Indistani who would invest his "personal emotions" on a gal, who is enjoying and reaping the fruits of her hard work, and money, and poor you lives in some BLACK-HOLE, in Indistan.

You make yourself a laughing stock, hamburger! And come underground and we will brand you with some better name then that Minto. Or is that a gig? Olo name representing your profession, albeit, in reverse gear?

abe ch00tpot the flag controversy is not the only one that has been a problem for her. she has been criticized more by her own community for disrespect for her religion. so blame that community first you faggit. and not the entire
india.

and yes, european players could go and play for the US because they had talent. sure US will welcome a low-ranker like Sania with open arms. Irian Jaya might.

Madafaka, remember, she is just born Musalmani. She may not suscribe to her religion.

The best thing is to go to some place were she can do what she pleases.

She will not have to deal with the fanaticism and religious zeloets, away from her country.

And she can play and earn and lose and earn and do what she wants with her life.

ON, you are not on with reality. This is an open free world. You are in a caged box. You know very litte about the big outside world, faggot.

And this applies to the other ON, who posted at 01.05 p.m. Friggin' limpid flaggard faggot.
