Sania is a true pride for the nation. There are many who ignore or unsee her talent and straight nature and critisise her, they are the ones who are no good to the nation, theyare just born as nusiance to others and the nation on whole.

keep singing the same old song over and over again... and our national pride will keep exiting all tournaments in 2nd and 3rd round.
Unless she changes her attitude, works on her fitness and her glamour first-tennis second attitude, she will not win any grandslams.

Those who bring fame and pride to our nation should be respected no matter what religion they belong. Using bad language for them is like insulting our own nation. Why America is super power and most prosperous nation in the world is that when it comes to nations pride and fame, they always put nation on the top without any prejudice.
RE:Those who mix religion with everything are biggest enemy of our nation and they themselves will not do a even single good thing in life.

Sarita, I diagree with your comment about USA. I live in US and have some good understanding of their culture. In here everything is handled professionally, if they don't have sports world no1 persons from a specific sport they will spend huge money to buy from different country. How many sports men are born americans but they represent USA in sports. This is nothing but economic power.

shane...u know so much about playing y dont u urself go and do something good for india instead for spreading the hatred. if you cant do something good atleast appreciate the people who are bringing fame to India.
I still don't believe what world are you people living. Can't you look at others as Indians, or better as humans, and not as defined by their religion!!!!!!!!!!!!
At the end of the day she is an Indian...and I am proud of her as an Indian, bringing fame to India..... GROW UP PEOPLE...open your horizons....

You are right jaspreet...people like joshi are still living in this country....will not do anything good nor will allow anyone else to do good thing.
Whether it is sport (Sania)or Films (Khans), the muslims of India are dominating and our only hope for whatever representation we have internationally, we are known outside India as country of Tajmahal (built bu Shagjahan - a muslim), now the biggest loss we have had in the partition was not the land but the people who migrated, unfortunately these folks are falling behind in education and think what they will do in this field if they comeforward, and how much we would be enriched, we should support this cause and award them scholarship for education not reservation as done to the backward class (which has made them further backward)

hmmm....lets see, Bollywood Tennis = Future hope of India and India is known internationally only becuz of "Tajmahal", WoW, I've never been so much enlightened before, Sameer Joshi (if that is your real name) who do you think you are feeding this bullcrap?... by the way, if you are soooo concerned for the pakis why dont you cross border and serve them all your heart and soul.
And one more thing, who are the people having been arrested recently for planning terrorist and antinational activities in our country?, do they belong to the "Future Hope" Category?.

Dear Gujju, Gandhiji was a Gujrati and Modi is a Gujrati but what a contrast, we are proud of Ghandiji and the whole world looks after his ideals, Modi is inspired by Hitler and can inspire Binladen. All the above are/were talented but channeled their energy to constructive/destructive activities. We should inspire people for constructivity and productivity and not for mass murder. Unfortunately people like you have long way to go in understanding what is wron or right. The sooner folk like you get the message the better world we would live in

SOme of ur args are ridiculous, why did Pak (Muslims) take up violence as a means to destablise INdia.. and now you want to reward them. You want to reward them for coming over here and taking ur life. Ah c'mon have some sense.
And What Modi and prsent day Indians are doing is a response to protect themselves.
Anyway the point here was Sania's I am proud and happy of her achievements. I dont care from what religion she is - all i care about is she is Indian.

agreed, but I thought the muslims did not want her to play tennis wearing the usual attire, all those fatwas and stuff, coming to the main point, having seen how muslims are faring, how do they even have the heart to attack India's policy and complain against it? India is great for this reason, for forgiving. Please take cue from how we treat the muslims in India, Mother India is setting an example to the whole world on how to handle mixed bag of people. Neighboring Pakistan and Bangladesh appears to be doomed, everyday there is a bomb blast. Muslims are fighting amongst themselves, India is great.

The problem of Pakistan is military control and their affinity towards America, Nepal and Shrilanka are no better either, they are fighting among each other and are prdominantly HINDU countries, infact Maoist are the biggest threat to us than muslim terrorism, but we are downplaying it I don't know why and Mao.. terrorist are hindus same as Tamils (who invented the first sucide bomb). The muslims are talented folks, do not drive them towards terrorism (Modi or American style), but encourage them for healthy contribution. In this forum some people hate SRK and Sania just because they are muslims, we have to praise our stars and encourage people like them, and be proud of them

Sania's parents has no problem (and both are muslims) with her dress up, they are proud of their daughter as all of us, who cares if some mulla disagree, actually the truth is that lots of people who hate muslims enjoys the fact that some mulla make a comment on her dress and than we would make fun of the whole muslim community and in a one billion plus population we can always find people who disagree for any thing let alone with some one dress up, and than get a publicity and who knows some money from the folks who enjoys the most with these kind of Muslim bashing news
