Eventhough Gerrard is the star of Liverpool midfield even without him Liverpool will win this year's premier league. This is one of the best start for Liverpool and other teams except Man U are consistently losing points. So the real threat for LP is Man U.

That's my point man...Torres is nowhere among the goals this season (go back to Athletico)..Keane hasn't found form...Alonso has only put his fellow Spaniard out of action (thus screwing Arsenal's last remaining hopes)..so every time the Reds have looked at a draw or defeat, Gerrard crashes a ball into the net from 30-40 yards (personally, have never seen him net one from inside the box. The only half-decent player they have is Kuyt who is another workhorse...but he is not a prolific goalscorer. Babel etc are kids yet. ManU had a bad start coz Ronaldo was injured...again a one-man dominated team altho they have a bit more depth. But Chelsea, inspite of an unfit Drogba, missing Essien have had a very decent run.

you are a sore loser. get the facts right. Torres is down with hamstring injury. Keane has already struck from. He scored 3 goals in the last two matches she played. Ofcourse Gerrard is our talisman. But we have won against MANURE without his help. He will be back and Liverpool will win the league title this time. No stopping us

ur right...but there is a problem in ur argument:
1. ManU will have to win all remaining matches(which they can) 2. Chelsea will have to lose some matches (which they cannot...as the transfer season is upon them and they will replenish their depleted side)

Man Utd. are 7 points off liverpool with two games in hand....so effectively they can overtake chelsea easily...chelsea nowadays cant even see off fulham....chelshit is in shambles this season....glory glory manchester united!!!!

For that, ManU will have to sustain a very good run to win....absolutely no losses...and Chelsea will have to lose a few. I simply dont see it happening. Transfer window's gonna open...Chelsea will replenish its injury-depleted roster and then we will kick the Pudlians off the top. ManU better watch out for Aston Villa!!! For your sake, ManU has a better chance of winning the Champs League again....and for my sake, I hope Big Phill proves me wrong!!

You would want Gerrard locked wont you? Maybe Ronaldo too. Why dont you guys play well instead? Drog is mentally at Inter and your attack is lead by 55 year olds like Anelka and uselss players like Cole, Kalou. Take out Lampard and you will fall apart like WTC.

Drogba is hungry...Lampard is hungrier...Terry's scoring goals off headers...ANELKA IS THE LEADING GOALSCORER...Cole is one of the most brilliant flank defender....Kalou is getting to be quite a poacher. Essien's injured, Carvalho just got back...the only ones truly suffering from lack of form are Deco and Malouda..and even they did their bit giving Chelsea an explosive start. So much for playin well!!! About ManU: RONALDO'S mentally at Madrid...they fell apart when he was (allegedly) injured early on. Now which is a one-man team?
Good......Man U has three games in hand and hopefully Gerrard is not released for the next two-three weeks....so they can gain ground while Liverpool slides.....hhaaahahah
