Mr Aurangzeb or whoever.....we are talking about Saina(not sania) Nehwal....and she's not a muslim but a hindu girl....but more importantly she's an INDIAN ..... her acheievment is simply amazing considering her young age and one needs to be proud of her as an INDIAN not for the religion or caste or region she hails from.....wish all the media give her the coverage that she so rightfully deserves........

But most of the player she beat were of chinease origin ..dude! morever, c beat world. no 11 and world no 8 in this tournament ,which is a credible performance. With a genuine talent like her, I have little doubt that c will beat the world no 4 too, whom c plays in the semis.

Fact that SANIA MIRZA plays at Grand Slam level, where compitition level is much higher than Badminton. What Miss Nehwal has done is ALSO GREAT but Mirza can not be blamed for sliding down as she is injured for 4 months.

and sania has only once gone past second round in Grand Slams , u cant compare with a girl who has reached olympic quarter finals

You think that Saina plays at some league level ? Every game has its own level of competetion and great players. Its not for nothing that she is ranked 10 right now in the world. And dont forget that she has been far more consistent than Sania. Sania has often dished out flash in the pan performances and often lost to players way below her ranking. And Sania has been hyped up more by the media than anything else. We all know who played well in the recent Olympics as well, which is nothing less than any Grand Slam event.
What an era of glorification of sports by Indians in "individual capacity". Vishy Anand, Koneru Humpy, Harikrishna, Sania Mirza, Saina Nehiwal, Joshna, Akhil kumar etc, really champs of world class. They are already made a huge call at World level. A lot of potential they have, which needs morale boosting from all of US. Hats off to all legends of sports. from a
