First Thing India should do is throw kalmadi out. Give chances to young blood to run the administration. Develop the facilities to train the young guns. I dont believe that there are dearth of talent in 1.3 billion population. I am sick of hearing that politics has ruined the sports. It is the same in most of the countries, only thing is politics happens only to make manoey out of the best not to select a player. Also lets encourage young students to actively take part in sports. I am sure that there is an awareness among most of the youngsters to keep their body fit. Lets tell them sports is an better way of keeping you fit. From my personal experiance i know some guys whom would have been a better competitors if continue to be in sports. But most of them left as they knew that it would not get them bread.
We have another four years( atleast in next olympics)we can develop a good team of young guns...firing provided the government and the IOA really had some idea of winning some medals rather than site seeing at the cost of the poor indian tax payers.
They are good in local sports. They cannot perform outside India. Just waste of money sending women atheltics outside India. They fight for 50% reservation and equalism.....
