Instead of throwing obscene sums of money at the medal winners at the olympics,the leaders should channel the funds at encouraging and supporting the talented youth in becoming the best they can be.As is obvious from the medal winners,these were individual acts of brilliance and not the result of a well organised societal sports programme.If China,South Korea and others can do it,don't the kids in India deserve better.
