IOC chief Jacques Rogge has miles to go before he matures. He as such big boys like him should do, should have gone to Bolt and told him what he wanted to rather than going public.

Bcoz Bolt is from poor nation and is winning on his aggression which Rouge human being want to suppress diplomatically.
I think the issue is blown out of proportion. Agreed, he should have shaken hands, but lets not go to the extent that he did not want to show respect. Probably just got carried away by his achievement and forgot to acknowledge the rest.

dont spend more time infront of computer. go and have a good sleep. Practice 36hrs a week and I am sure u will make it. I am marking your name on my diary.
The reason why he forgot to shake hands with his fellow athlets is that he finished much ahead of them and being a big man of 6'5'' it takes more time to slow down, and by that time his fellow competitors were far behind. He is not an arrogant fellow, may a bit immature that is all. Buy that does't diminish his great achievement. In my whole life I have't seen a performance like this. He is a Bolt from the Blue/

A MAN OF 6'5'' HEIGHT WITH PROPER PSYCHIOLOGICAL OUT- PUT WITH SCIENTIFIC TRAINING CAN SUPER DEILVER RESULT IN 100 METERS DASH AS HE IS HAVING LONG LEG WITH SPEED.THIS RECORD CAN BE BROKEN BY A MAN WITH SIMILAR FRAME OF BODY AND SCIENTIFIC TRAINING.THOUGH THE RESULT IS AMAZING THERE IA NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THE ABOUT THE ACHIEVEMENT.
There has been talk in sports as to who is the worlds greatest athlete.
American media can be very biased they talk of Tiger Woods, what does he do, hit a golf ball and slowly walks to it. Where is the athletic ability, where is the jaw-dropping awe???
Roger Federer, great tennis player but is now over-taken by Rafal Nadal
Phelps, 8 gold medals but who is going to remember any race of his in 4 months??
The greatest without doubt is USAIN BOLT! What he has done in 100metres and 200metres will be remembered for life. The shock value, the jaw-dropping WOW factor. No other athelte has that.
Running faster than any other human for me is true athletic power!

Everybody still remembers Mark Spitz....Phelps has emulated him & gone beyond. Bolt is great but Mark Phelps is truly the greatest.

Dear Step Hen Math Ew it is like this what i wanna say that in the game of olympics one can be said as greatest athlete (What is the keyword? ATHELETE) Yes Greatest Athelete is one who takes part in triathalon mean can swim, cycle and run. Phelps is lucky that there r so many permutation ncombination of same game in which he dominate.
If he is a true athlete not just good swimmer why he didnt participated in Triathalon which also have swimming?
Now you got what makes the difference? It is the slection of right word? Phelps is not greatest athlete. He is one of the greatest ever swimmer so far. Mind you and remind you that records are made to be broken just like every human are born to die some day. Death is guaranteed but birth is not.
Finally key point and bottomline Phelps is not the greatest athlete.
I am going for mediatation. What is it? Meditation. Neither medication nor introspection nor exercise just pure meditation. Yes selection of correct word is important.
He who hails the lord is always winner. Amen Bismillah or rahim o rehman. Allah o Akbar Budham Saranam Gachami Gyanam Sarnam Tatsami Namo Arihantaram Om Namo Shivay

Good please define as you like. We have no issues. My definition everyday people runs to catch train what is great in running fast as far as you are not catching thief or getting a train.
Golf is a game of character so the shoe, apparels, equipment all are made very costly so that people in slums cant spoil it. People can't target properly in toilet while holding the bayonet then imagine hitting a birdie or at par that too such a long stick and small ball. Your ball will go loose.
Also Africans are good in running bcoz they muslim africans keep attacking each other killing so they keep on running. The faster one can run the highest is chance of survival.

Absolutely true. Everyone still remembers Carl Lewis vividly or even the tragic 100 mtr run of Ben Johnson.
everyone should respect rather ask usain bolt to respect.imagine how hard its to be a champion from jamaica.its the greatest sprint people all over world watched and the way bolt celebrated speaks how much he concentrated.its a rare thing that both in 100 and 200 its not a photo finish.i salute the great man .

Pride comes before destruction so goes the proverb. Agreed it is very hard to become champions BUT it also is very difficult to become a human too when pride overtakes our lives. You earn respect when you respect others not the otherway round. He concentrated for himself but he left a bad impact on the fellow atheletes by not shaking hands or hugging them, because thats what the spirit of Olympic movement is all about. Havent you seen great fotball playing nations go to the team that lost the match and hugg them and say better luck next time.Only the arrogant nations don't do that.
