Great achievement - a medal in the very first Olympics. India should learn something from Afghanistan, Its good to give prizes to olympic achivers but its equally important to have an infracture which could churn out more olympic level players. infracture is wat india is missing badly and something which will going to cost us in the future as well..
india shuld give imprtance to other sports as well..
im pretty sure if india uplifts its sporting infrastructure to Chinese levels then it will also produce more and more "O" achievers.
something Anil Ambani should think about .. he is planning to buy out an english club for some 250 million pounds. can he invest money in building a gymnasium for our own atheletes. i bet he cant. bill gates came to india and donated 2000 crores for AIDS.. warren buffet has already donated 36.5 Billion dollars to charity. we have money but no heart. those have money and big heart.
