They revolted against Leander who is now a Indian sporting Legend. Leander never failed qualifier....needn't to play as he always had direct entry....Leander Wimbledon champion Jr...Oylmpic Medalist.....
Look what is fate of these so called....good players...
we need talented players.... these r the rich guys...they will never be able to even break in the top 100.... we will win a singles grenslam only when a middle class or BPL family player gets d chance...

Mr. yao the only person who one the first individual gold medal for India is rich...his dad owns a 300 crore company. Who is going to spend money after a Middle class kid whose first responsiblity is to take good education and stand on his feet before his father retires so that he can than support his family ?
I am a father and I cannot take the risk and also cannot effort to give my son a sports carrier....What is the future of any other game in india besides Cricket ? How many times you have gone to watch a Hockey or Foot ball tournement in India...you might not even know that there are this types of tournaments, because 98% of India has only loved Cricket in this country.
I can give my son a chance to make his carrier is sports if govt. gives him some sort of facility and a little cash every month to support himself. All the developed countries like US, China gives monthly money to there future sportsman...besides world class practice facility to improve and practice there skills.
We have long way to go...I mean if govt. cannot do it big bussiness houses like Reliance, Wipro, Infosys, Birla, Tata should do something...Mittal is the only one who started doing something since 2006 and we already saw the results (India will get atleast 2 medals in boxing).
I hope one day we can provide world class facility to some of the kids if not mine, so that they can prove and show that India has got it what it takes to win.

Who will pay for this "middle class" / "BPL" players equipment / training? The only Olympic gold was brought by a "rich guy" whose father built him a private shooting range...
