Such incidents and discrimination against Monika Devi is so cruel and heartbreaking for common Indians whose dreams are lost due to these bureaucrats everyday.
This is not first time, we Indians have conspired against our own countrymen since the invasion of Alexander. That is why 10,000 Britsh thugs could rule 30 million Indians. That is why after 61 years of independance, we are at the same level of development as some civil war torn countries in Africa.

Couldn't agree more with you. Though her loss can never really be compensated, the only way to make some amends would be to bring the culprits to swift justice.
The Indian Govt. should give Monika a free 10 day vacation to Beijing for this wrong doing, because that is what she lost by not being able to participate!!!

Dude, you are a complete idiot and lose nothing by typing your negative comments. For the level of sports/facilities available in India, if she was at top in India, she deserves to go to Olympics. Even being an Olympian is not a small feat as fools like you sitting at home think.

I agree that Monika should sue the authority, but what will CBI as its credentials have been tarnished ever since UPA came into power and politicized this branch of intelligence bureau.
