North Indians are great, they finally let India come out of British rule after 200 plus years of servitude. Look how our Shers from Haryana and Puttars from Punjab have faught valiantly so that we can rule our land. We showed them that what US can do in few years, we too can do it.
Abhinvav Bindra is a great hero. He did not let 10 crores of money on training get wasted. He proved it with a gold medal.
South indians will rule Olympics like they have ruled Software!
Above all, Rediff chief, Mr. Balakrishanan...you are a great man. You finally brought the news of Saratha in thousands of men in olympics who has moved from 1st round to 2nd round. You are a true son of the soil. You are a proud south indian and have rightly put it in breaking news. We are proud of you.
hi , i think the Olympic committee is biased and does not include games in which we have strong hold like kanche ,gulli dhanda aur latoo.i am sure you can add some more...
bhai mere....win it or else the rest of india will hit a forehand topspin across ur left cheek and a backhand chop on ur right cheek....and lastly smash a tt ball up ur nose.

boss... dont expect a medal from him.. coz.. when he was leaving for the competition, he said his aim would be to reach into the round of 16... when the player himself doesnt have the confidence to win, how can the people have ???

Remember, Table tennis is a game of reflexes, as i play it regularly. Chinese are the best reflexes. Do not expect Gold as Indians are not good in reflexes. Now the rules have also been chnaged. Now there are only 11 point game so it will be more tougher to win instead of 21 point game.

Hari...do you belong to a NEW country called South India just like South Korea (now offcourse called Peoples Republic of Korea) ?
Well what is the capital of your country SOUTH INDIA man ? Can you please say how your country flag looks like ?
I belong to INDIA man.
By the way...his name is SHARATH and not Sarath as you say. Dont speak nonsense in a HURRY Mr.HARI . Hurry burry spoils the curry Mr.Hari.
I am an Indian from down south myself and let me tell you FACTS will always remain. Except Karnam Malleswari in Weighliftin no one from southern states ever won a medal for us at Olympics in last 100 years man. Even this year only ABHINAV BINDRA won us a Gold till now. So lets accept one fact that people down south may be BRAINY and not BRAWNY. Thats why maybe we have most of the Chess champions Anand, Humpy, Harika (Junior World Cup champ now), Sasikiran etc... and up north they are so strong and physically better than me and you (idli sambar) that they win for us in Olympics.
But having said all that I again tell you to relax and look at your passport please. It says REPUBLIC of INDIA...not REPUBLIC of SOUTH INDIA on that and your Sarath oops.. Sharath also plays for INDIA not SOUTH INDIA.
We all HOIST one flag called INDIAN tricolour on Aug 15th isnt it ? SO lets be united always and SUPPORT TEAM INDIA in all sports.

South Indians are not only brainy, but brawny also! Look at Mahesh Bhupati who can beat the sheit out of any players...he beat Leander Paes also. Look at Anju George...she is the champion and she will win gold in Olympics also!
North is fine, we consider them also to be Indians! We have fought together against British. Like Gandhi we have Anna (Dr. Kailainagar), who have brought freedome to India. Now Rajanikanth will bring the next glory. This is not the debate between South and North!
This is about the best glory sound indians can bring to India. And you see they will fire up the Olympics!!

mahesh bhupati is a sissy loser like u who cries when he can't become captain. thats not brawny thats being like a kid.
anju floppy gheorge hahaha..anyway in this olympics southies have performed worst...only the tigers from punjab and haryana are bringing india glory..also north indian dhoni won 20-20 world cup, north indian kapil won 1983 world cup..north indian rathore won silver medal..north indian paes won bronze medal in 1996...so stop shitting as it clearly exposes ur lack of brains and pathetic character of dividing india.
Sharath has a tough draw ahead. He has to beat Weixing Chen who has beaten him once and then face Hao Wang who is world no. 1 Although I support Sharath and my heart is always supportive for India, my brain says he has an uphill task at his hands. I wish that GOD listens to my heart this time. Best of luck Sharath. Entire India is supporting you, fight like a lion
RE:Tough Going Ahead
by Anubhav Seth on Aug 20, 2008 07:56 AM
It is not a matter of fighting like a lion, every one fights like a lion. it is the reflexes and the concentration at that point of time. As TT is a game where you win or lose depending upon the concentration.

What an idea! If we invest, 1/4 of the money we spend to make mosques, churches and temples, we can take china for a head on head collission.
